Hello my name is Jaime Iacono and I founded Shimmer For You in 2012. I have been licensed for over 18 years. I am well rounded in the industry. I began working in a salon doing hair, nails, and make up, including airbrush make up. I worked in a salon for 7 years, a spa for 5 years, and taught in Cosmetology schools. I have found working on location with clients to be the most rewarding. I enjoy making people feel beautiful on their most important days. It is important for me to keep up on trends and to continue my education. I also enjoy sharing my favorite products and tips on my social media pages.

We make getting ready a breeze by coming directly to you on your wedding day. Relax and mingle with your wedding party while we work. Travel fees apply when traveling over 30 miles. We travel all over NJ and specialize in the Jersey Shore area. We also travel within the tri-state area.

Jaime was such a great person to work with the entire process along the way. She was super helpful with any questions I had and was also very accommodating to some changes that needed to be made last minute. Me and my girls all loved our hair and makeup and Jaime made me feel so confident and beautiful the day of. She is a total rockstar at what she does!

Leading up to my special day, Jaime was organized and communicative. She did a great job coordinating with me living outside of the area and only being in town the weekend of the wedding. Nicolette did a fabulous job making me feel heard and comfortable during my trial and the day of. She perfectly captured what I had in mind for my hair and makeup. She made sure my makeup was light and really enhanced my curls for my hair. My sister, friend, and I all loved having her around the morning of - she was a great addition to the day.

I am so thankful I was able to connect with Jamie when I was looking for someone to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. From the start she was super helpful and accommodating. She was easy to get in touch with, very responsive, and organized. I didn’t realize how important it was to have someone like that until the day of the wedding. There was literally zero stress over anything dealing with hair and make up thanks to Jamie and Jenna. Just as important, I LOVED my hair and makeup. In past occasions I have not liked how my hair and make up turn out when I get them professionally done so I was a little nervous. But working with Jaime and Jenna was great and I loved the final look. They really listened to what I liked (and didn’t like) and ultimately made me feel and look like the best version of myself on my wedding day. I highly recommend them!

From start to finish, Jaime and her crew were a DREAM to work with! Not only was I so happy with my hair and makeup, but so were all of my bridesmaids AND my mom and mother-in-law, and that’s saying something. Also, it was still flawless at 1am…trust me, you want them for your big day!!
