Always wanting to be in the fashion and beauty industry since 2nd grade, Jo started cutting hair in the garage at 14 years old. After high school and college, she graduated at the top of her class from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, MN. Jo knew she wanted to work in the best city for cutting edge hair and fashion so she packed up her car in 2012 and headed to the big city lights of Los Angeles. Here, she learned that the hair and beauty industry was cut throat, tough, rough, and disciplined – traits that she would take along with her during her hair career. Toni & Guy. Here she connected with many of her current clients in the celebrity, TV, and movie world. She went on to do hair for celebrities on red carpets, the Emmy Awards, Grammys, Academy Awards, and ESPY’s. She worked for popular television channels such as Bravo and E! TV and realized she needed to branch off from a 9-5 and do this full time on her own. By 2015, Jo was consistently styling hair for cast members of Vanderpump Rules and word of mouth spread to other high end clientele. Jo has booked with brides for their weddings across the United States and continues to create looks for her clients that represent their best self.
