Crystel Franco-Cortez is the owner and lead stylist of Crystel Does Hair LLC, specializing in bridal styling and makeup artistry. ​With over two decades of experience in the hair industry, Crystel is passionate about creating cohesive looks that boost her clients' confidence. For the past ten years, Crystel has been dedicated to styling brides and bridal parties, as well as preparing clients for sweet sixteens, quinceañeras, and pageants She graduated from Boss Beauty Academy in 2023, where she honed her makeup skills and learned the business side of the industry.

A highlight of Crystel's career was working with her business partner and friend at the Miss New York and Miss Teen New York USA Pageants for Lauren D'Alemio's Team, marking a significant milestone working with their makeup artist icon. ​

    Crystel is an amazing hairstylist. My bridal party was six in total, including myself, and she kept the energy up and going. Crystel arrived as scheduled and started on the first bridesmaid after a ten minute set up. She listened and payed attention to details. My day of glam was everything I wanted for my big day and my bridesmaids were very happy with their glam too!!!

    Crystel provides clear communication through out the wedding process journey. She is professional and provides quality skills in hair. My hair held pretty amazing through out the day and up until the evening. I had so many complements. I highly recommend her!
