Owners

Owners Sam and Susan Platt opened this local restaurant eight years ago. With the help of family, friends, and even customers, they developed the catering side of the small eatery with a big reputation. We can provide full service including setup, serving of food buffet-style, bartending, and cleanup throughout the facility, or just drop off your food if your budget is tight.

Our goal is to make your wedding positively memorable. We offer delicious food and professional, friendly service at reasonable prices. We listen to your vision for your wedding, and offer suggestions and insight based on our years of experience, to ensure that your wedding is what you dreamed it would be. Our staff work with checklists, so that no detail, big or small, is overlooked in the midst of the chaos that can sometimes surround a wedding. We pay special attention to any dietary concerns and offer a wide variety of vegetarian and gluten free options (including Celiac-friendly meal prep).

    I highly recommend this vendor for anyone doing a country wedding/ outside/ high numbers. Everyone has asked me where the food was from they loved it. The prices are amazing and Susan was a pleasure to work with.

    As a wedding venue owner, I have had probably more than 30 events catered by Honky Tonk Smokehouse by now with more on the books for 2021. The staff is always on time, professional, and kind. The food is amazing and I always tell our clients their food is major step up from traditional bbq restaurants without an astronomical $ investment. Brisket is a popular choice and is by far the best I have ever tasted, however they also have options like pulled chicken and will accommodate vegetarian or vegan diets as well. I could go on and on about Susan and the other staff at Honky Tonk Smokehouse, but you will not be disappointed from a food quality standpoint or professionalism/interaction with staff.
