Nestled in northern Rhode Island, Wright's Dairy Farm and Bakery is a fifth-generation, woman-owned business, that has been providing customers with fresh, high-quality desserts since 1914. We know wedding planning can be overwhelming, but there's no reason to stress the dessert - let us take care of it for you! From traditional tiered wedding cakes, to mini pastry dessert bars, we've got it covered. We thrive on creating a unique and enjoyable experience for each and every couple, ensuring that your vision comes to life!

An added bonus: While visiting for your tasting, make sure to explore the farm! See our herd of calves and cows, take the self-guided tour, watch the milking process, and enjoy our wide range of pastries, milk, and other products. During the summer, stop by our trailer and treat yourself to fresh scooped ice cream, made with milk from our own cows!

    Absolutely Perfect

    Our cake was not only beautiful but delicious! Guests talked about our cake for weeks following our wedding. From early inquiries, to the tasting, to the wedding day, the team at Wrights made the process seamless!

    Raised prices - but - skimped on quality

    UNFORTUNATELY, Wright's Dairy Farm has jumped on the "charge more but less quality" bandwagon. After decades of cake ordering - and a lapse of 5 years - the cake is NOT THE SAME. Barely any strawberry filling rather than the generous portions of the past; small slices of strawberries rather than the huge whole strawberries of the past; a heavy, off pudding taste of what was NOT REAL WHIPPED CREAM rather than the light tasty real whipped cream of the past. BOTTOM LINE: Since 2021 cakes went up by 20-25 with markeded reduction of quality.

    November Wedding

    Wright's Dairy Farm and Bakery was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our first call, they were efficient, friendly, and accommodating, answering all of our questions and working with us to create the perfect dessert spread.     Delicious cake and dessert bar

    Wright's Dairy Farm and Bakery was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding cake and desserts. Their communication was quick, easy, and simple throughout the entire process.     From the moment we reached out to Wright's Dairy Farm and Bakery, their communication was quick, easy, and simple to work with. The quality of their work was stunning - the two-tier sweetheart cake and sheet cakes they created for our wedding were not only delicious, but had so many options for us to choose from to fit our vision. Our guests raved about the cakes, constantly asking where we had gotten them. We were thrilled with the final product and how it contributed to making our special day even more perfect.

6-12 months prior to your event date is preferred for availability purposes. The sooner, the better!
Delivery is available upon request, for an additional fee. We offer delivery within an hour radius of Wright’s Dairy Farm and Bakery and have a limited amount of delivery slots available per day. We deliver approximately one hour prior to guest arrival time.
Our tastings are made fresh and boxed to bring home and enjoy. A sales consultant would be happy to send you tasting information and to schedule your tasting pickup for you!
Base pricing is determined by cake size requested. Cake size is determined by serving amount. We welcome inspiration photos that will help with designing your cake and giving a custom quote.
Absolutely! Our gallery is located on our website, wrightsri.com, under the Bakery tab.
We offer single and multiple tiered cakes, sheet cakes, cupcakes, a Dessert Bar, and a Milk & Cookie Bar. Our favors include a wide variety of options that we’d be happy to discuss with you!
We offer a Gluten Sensitive or Sugar Free cake option, and a limited selection of other desserts for additional restrictions. We do not have dedicated equipment to produce allergen-free desserts, and work with gluten, dairy, and various nuts in our bakery daily. So, while we make every effort to avoid cross contamination, we cannot promise against it. Please make the sales consultant aware of any allergy concerns. We currently do not offer Vegan options.
We do require an e-signed contract, which can be modified up until a month before your wedding date when we finalize, and a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure your date. The deposit does go towards the cost of your order.
We offer both in-person and phone consultations. Both cover the same information, it just depends what works best for each couple.
