Are you looking for more than just a bartender for your special event? Blushing Gypsy is it! I specialize in beverage service but can do so much more than that! I barista, create fun mocktails and specialty cocktails. I am passionate about making sure my couple's special day is exactly what they envision as far as beverage service goes. I work some amazing wedding vendors in our area and am always happy to recommend other vendors.

Then Blushing Gypsy Events is the bar service for your event! I specialize in fun creative cocktails and work one on one with my couples to ensure their bar service is exactly what they picture. Blushing Gypsy will help create fun signature drinks, calculate your alcohol needs and work with you to create bar menus. We are licensed and have full Liquor Liability Insurance. Alcohol not really your thing? We got you covered. I am also a barista and can provide a coffee bar.

    Blushing Gypsy Events was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! Kristin is always just a phone call or text away and she will go above and beyond to make you comfortable and your day go smoothly. For example, she drove me home after the reception and made sure I made it back safe. She is absolutely amazing - her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for her clients really shine through. We couldn't have asked for a better bar services and beverages provider for our wedding. Blushing Gypsy Events is truly top-notch and I highly recommend them to any couple planning their big day!

    We had a wonderful experience working with Blushing Gypsy Events for our mutual clients wedding Coordination services and bartending. Their communication style was responsive and detail oriented throughout the planning process. They demonstrated a clear attention to detail and consistently put the needs of the clients first. Blushing Gypsy Events provided honest communication, set clear expectations, and ensured that each special day was absolute perfection.     I have been sitting on writing a review for a couple of days after my wedding because I wanted to make sure I had all of my thoughts together. I would like to start off with saying that Kristin did a great job with helping to set up the decor before the wedding & helping to take it down after. My friends/family & I did do a lot of the initial work of set up however she did put final touches on the decor & did a good job of making the reception area come together. Kristin did her job of making sure different aspects about the wedding were handled leading up to the ceremony & made sure I didn’t worry about things, which I appreciate. What I don’t appreciate is how things were handled concerning my family, friends, & bridal party. I have heard from different people that were an important part of our day that they were treated with attitude & that she didn’t want to take others views as suggestions. I left a large majority of aspects pertaining to the wedding in the hands of my friends/family/bridal party & Kristin. I expected my family to be included and not simply bulldozed over when it came to their opinions. I also do not appreciate hearing from people that I was described in a manner as being unorganized & unprepared. Is anyone truly 100% prepared for their wedding day? Let alone someone who is also pregnant, recently bought a house, & still works full time at a trauma 1 center? My whole attitude about our wedding day was relaxed & laid back. Truly anything that came up as problem such as missing supplies did not bother me. If it did not bother me, the bride, why should it bother our coordinator? I was also made aware that I “low balled” on our catering & bartending. Why would she think this when my husband & I bought the alcohol ourselves that was suggested by Kristin & her company, & our catering was done by a completely separate company/person. My husband & I paid the fees that were presented to us for her services. We were not made aware of any other fees & if there were additional fees then they should have been brought to our attention. As mentioned on top of hiring her for our day of coordination we also hired her for bartending services. She had advised us before our wedding that she would not over serve but people would still be able to get drinks & have fun. Fine, completely fine by us. At her suggestion the bar was not only shut down early, but I had multiple guests coming up to me stating that they were cut off after three drinks. I do agree with some of the guests being cut off however there was no consistency to the alcoholic limit allowed with some guests being cut off after three & some guests telling my husband & I they had more than 10 drinks. We not only bought the suggested alcohol but we also have alcohol to return to the store as a large majority of it was not used. After speaking with the owner of the venue the day after our wedding we were told that she had told him she was “glad he showed up so he could see for himself”. See what for himself? Nothing was damaged, we received our security deposit back, & the owner themselves said the venue looked great compared to other weddings that had been hosted. For a majority of our wedding I felt as if we were walking on eggs shells & being judged. Overall I do appreciate what Kristin did for me on wedding day but I feel like my day was a tainted by her attitude and in hindsight would not have used her services if I knew what would happen.

    I’m truly sorry you feel that way. There are definitely two sides to all stories. I have been doing this a long time and this is my first not so great review which bad reviews are just part of it. But there were a lot of guest that had been drinking well before bartender arrived and so were well on way to being intoxicated……the venue itself has a very strict alcohol policy about shots and self serving which both were going on. I had warned guest several times it was again venue policy. As self serving continued I did make the decision to shut down the bar after communicating with venue owner. Serving alcohol is a huge responsibility and a lot of liability so if guest are breaking contract and after being asked not to still continue to do so then yes I will 💯 shut down the bar. As far as family and whoever feeling I was rude I apologize. I wasn’t rude but someone had to take the reins and get stuff done which is what I was hired to do. Yes brides do forget things but not usually all the flowers, cutlery, and etc….i offered to source these things locally which could have been handled in less than an hour but instead it showed up 30 mins prior to ceremony time. I do send a check list to clients to make sure they have all the things. I can appreciate a laid back bride but it was complete chaos with way too many hands involved day of. So I did my job and was authoritative to ensure the decor and timeline were on point. At the end of the day I gave 100% to this client as I do all my clients. So I do feel I did the best job possible and advocated for the couple as well as the venue. Congrats again to the happy couple. 🫶🏼

    Kristin was SO helpful. I had no idea what I was doing planning an event, and there was some confusion with the venue about alcohol rules, and Kristin took care of everything. She took all of that off my plate and I knew I didn’t have to worry about it because she had it covered. She did a great job at the event and kept up with my heavy drinking crowd lol. She also memorized my drink order so when I came up she knew exactly what to give me. My only regret is that I didn’t use more of her services like decorating and coordinating. She is an angel.
