Toast & Jam DJs specialize in making people dance by working closely with our clients to create customized playlists that reflect their tastes. We reject line dances, props, and other gimmicks in favor of perfectly planned and well-timed soundtracks that appeal to every partygoer. That means no Hokey Pokey and no Chicken Dance. At Toast & Jam, we believe that a thoughtful mix of pop favorites, hip-hop bootyshakers, Motown classics, and timeless standards are fun and self-respecting alternative to those embarrassing and played-out dancefloor clichés.

Our DJs are super-talented and totally music-obsessed, but we aren't music snobs. We understand that it’s your wedding, and it’s all about what you want. We aren’t club DJs who took a wedding “for the money.” We love weddings and are honored to be a part of the big day. We work closely with your other vendors to make sure that the event goes off perfectly.

    We had the absolute pleasure of working with Wayne from Toast & Jam for our wedding, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ experience. Wayne brought all the vibes—from heartfelt and romantic during the ceremony to high-energy and fun during the dance floor moments. He somehow read the room perfectly the entire night. What really set Wayne apart, though, was how effortlessly he helped everything flow. We wanted a laid-back celebration, and he totally got it. He struck the perfect balance of keeping things on track without it ever feeling rigid or rushed. His attention to detail and calm, collected energy gave us so much peace of mind. The Toast & Jam Team was also incredibly proactive with reminders and follow-ups leading up to the wedding, and made coordinating the photo booth experience an absolute breeze. Everything felt seamless, like they quietly handled all the things we didn’t even realize needed handling. If you’re on the fence—don’t be. We’d recommend Toast & Jam (and Wayne!) a thousand times over.

    Toast & Jam and DJ Alli Klein were FANTASTIC!! Music was so incredibly important to me for our wedding and Alli understood the assignment and delivered. I had multiple people come up to me during and after our wedding and say that the music was the best they’ve ever heard at any wedding. Not to mention everything went off perfectly without a hitch. If you want a rocking dance floor and to party hard then look no further than toast and jam.

    Norah and the Toast & Jam crew were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the start, their communication was detailed, and thorough, putting our minds at ease. Their process for selecting music we like/didn't like was straightforward and the resulting playlist was extraordinary - guests continue to bring it up months after the event! Norah was available for us, and patient throughout the entire planning process. Additionally, Norah was incredibly flexible and responsive to our wishes as a same-sex couple. She used her industry expertise to steer us when we needed the guidance and took our feedback to heart to make sure the day was ours. We are so grateful to Norah and her team for making our wedding day perfect. It takes a lot of trust to allow someone to take the music helm for a day like your wedding. We had all the faith that Norah was going to do right by us and make our day exactly as we hoped. Our guests had the most amazing time on the dance floor thanks to Norah. Not to mention that Norah is just an absolute gem of a human.

    We had Chris G from Toast & Jam as our DJ for our wedding in December at Chicago Winery and he was INCREDIBLE!! He played the saxophone along with DJ'ing, and was the star of the show coming out on the dance floor and just lighting it up! We got so many compliments about how great he was and the dance floor never lulled. He was also so great to work with leading up to the wedding, totally understanding our vibe and curating a perfect playlist for all ages! Hire Chris and Toast & Jam for your wedding!!
