On the day of your wedding the last thing you want to worry about is whether your photos look awkward or staged especially with all the nerves and excitement running through your system. But that is the exact opposite of how we felt with Dimitri and his team, they made us feel extremely comfortable and confident in front of the camera, they even go the extra mile to ensure that they are achieving genuine laughs and smiles from everyone around them. Once we started working on our album, Dimitri made sure to work with us as team to ensure that our vision came to life. Mae responded immediately to all my questions, day or night, and took the time to video chat with me at length twice before the shoot to discuss what we were looking for in our photos. Before the shoot, I had sent her a few examples of what I liked, and not only did the photos come out exactly how I wanted them, but were even more perfect than I envisioned. The engagement shoot itself was so much fun, and Mae made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, despite us thinking we’d both feel awkward getting posed photos of us taken. Mae truly had a vision for what poses, locations, and lighting would work, and the execution was perfect. “If I could give Stefan ten stars, I would. Working with him was an incredible experience from start to finish. He did our engagement photos and our wedding photos and for the former he traveled to New York so we could do the shoot at a location that has a great deal of meaning to us. My husband and I are not people who are usually comfortable in front of a camera, but Stefan goes above and beyond to make sure he is prepared and that you are prepared to have the best shoot possible. He has detailed guides for both engagement and wedding shoots, which were incredibly helpful. He also meets with you to discuss your goals for the shoot, get to know who you are as a couple, and understand the vibe you are going for. Our engagement shoot was on a cold and windy day in a location unfamiliar to him and he did research, arrived early, and knocked it out of the park. For our wedding day, the timeline went exactly to plan and any stress or nerves I was feeling completely melted away because we already knew Stefan was on top of it, knew what we wanted from the day, and that we had a rapport going between us. On our wedding day, our friends and family absolutely gushed about Stefan and how great he is. I can't tell you how many times someone came up to me and said, "Who is your photographer? He is AWESOME." Stefan's style is authentic and he is incredibly skilled. The photos are breathtaking without seeming unnatural or overworked. He is great at capturing your vibe as a couple and making sure that comes through in the photos. “Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.”

“Makeup lasted all night. Looked amazing. I could say so much about her. She was sweet, professional, she did a range of looks on my girls. She did all 6 of us in a couple hours. If you abide by the time slots she needs it will be easy for everyone. All my girls loved her as a person as well. Some of them slept with their makeup on and woke up with lipstick still in tact, lashes still on. She is on time. For my woman of color, she can match your skin tone exactly. My girls were mostly white but my MOH is Hispanic, and another is a very dark in complexion and both blended seamlessly. My makeup remained perfect, normally my eyes get annoyed with mascara and lashes but they didn't when she did it. I would also be friends with her IRL. THAT is how amazing she is.”

“Many amazing qualities - from the sustainable use of in-season plants, aromatic plants, and willingness to help transform bridesmaids bouquets to center-pieces post ceremony, I couldn't recommend Honeysuckle Farm enough. What I appreciated even more was her flexibility in working with my budget - while several florists in the area turned me down when I wasn't able to meet larger minimums, Honeysuckle Farms listened to my priorities list and crafted an offer tailored to what I most wanted. Totally transparent pricing and high-quality work. Florals were not my priority, so we didn't communicate too frequently. When we did speak Honeysuckle was kind, considerate, and showed she was thoughtful and deliberate in questions/responses. I think the communication quantity would have changed if I had more specific requests or a larger purchase. My jaw DROPPED when I saw the wedding arch she made for me. This was far beyond my wildest dreams and (I felt) a REALLY good price. Would recommend Honeysuckle to anyone, but particularly for folks who aren't looking to spend 5k for bouquets and basics***(obviously pricing is based on market and seasonality).”
