I shoot both film and digital photography but film really has my heart. The way that film captures light and color in such a timeless way is absolutely magical! I have the coolest job in the world! I say it all the time: I'm one lucky girl. It's so humbling to have captured numerous milestones and new chapters in so many people's lives. Keeping my sessions unique and allowing the images to really tell their own story is always my goal. Hello Lovely! So happy you're here! My story of becoming a photographer is unconventional like all the best stories are. I was always the quiet artsy-fartsy kid, more artsy than fartsy, I promise. As a child who dealt heavily with an anxiety disorder and depression my only solace was taking my bright pink barbie film camera out to the back porch to take photos of the sky. My parents weren’t the happiest about the frequent weekly trips to the film lab but oh the wonder my little fingertips felt every time I opened up a new envelope to reveal the magic I had created inside. That feeling of magic has never stopped.

I'm Lauren, St. Louis-based Photographer! I know what it’s like to search for a photo of a loved one during one of your favorite moments and not be able to find it. I want to do my part to make sure that doesn’t happen to as many people as I can. I want you to never need to search for photos of your memories with your loved ones or yourself again. The only thing I have left of my childhood best friend are memories and those memories, in my own aging, are slowly fading. After high school I pursued cosmetology, but after a year made the decision to get out from behind a chair, and get behind a camera again.
