Our tree-lined community provides a rural setting with all the conveniences of an urban location. Historic with pops of classical and bohemian chic our venue is the perfect location for your wedding or special event. The Edgewood Club is more than simply a place to relax. It’s a place to interact with like-minded people who understand the importance of sharing memorable experiences. The beauty of the club is that we will only host ONE wedding per weekend, be it a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We love providing our host with the time necessary to enjoy their event and by no means are we a “cookie cutter” one in one out type of venue. It is so important that we build relationships and give our hosts the confidence to attend as a guest and enjoy the whole experience. We do only free listings and typically book a year to a year and a half in advance.

Five Pines Barn is the perfect location for your rustic country wedding. We offer all the amenities of a normal venue, including a dining area, a bar, a dance floor, restrooms, and twinkle lights galore! The barn is located on a property of 150 acres so you can take in the beautiful and peaceful countryside surroundings while you enjoy your evening. It is the perfect backdrop for your special day. Brides love this freedom because it means they have time to come decorate before the day of the wedding, and they don't have to end the party by a certain time! This also allows you to host your rehearsal dinner at the barn if you wish. And feel free to bring your furry friends - pets are welcome!

It was an apt name because the intricately carved mushroom exemplified the skill, beauty, and taste that Peg brought to Pittsburgh’s culinary scene. The grand ballroom’s maple hardwood main floor can accommodate between about 100 and 300 seated guests, depending on setup and food service style, and up to 22 at a head table onstage, with ample room for a dance floor. Upon entering the venue, formerly known to be the Franklin Savings and Trust Company, your guests will be welcomed to the main event space where no detail goes untouched. The original columns surround the newly installed custom black and white dance floor where your guests will dance the night away. Modern chandeliers installed overhead provide the perfect mood lighting for the evening.

Alla Famiglia was started in 1997. Another fine Italian restaurant created from the mind of David Ayn. In 2005, Ayn approached a young & ambitious chef Jonathan Vlasic to purchase the 8-table restaurant from him. Mr. Vlasic was a perfect fit to receive the baton and move the restaurant into a new future. Alla Famiglia has evolved into a restaurant which is a representation of the years of formal culinary training of Mr.Vlasic and his family of Roman&Emilia descent. The result was an eatery of superior quality with disciplined technique, vivid imagination, and passion for perfection. Through the next 14 years, the restaurant evolves, expands and stretches its footprint to accommodate its increasing popularity and growing demand. In 2014, Mr. Vlasic decides to purchase the property adjacent to the restaurant and bring his vision to a full circle. “Il Teatro” is born in the winter of 2017. It is now reinvented into its original depression art deco-era for Alla Famiglia guests to enjoy.

Our distillery is housed in a 1906 carriage house built of Pennsylvania hardwood and steel. In 2019, we won a Pennsylvania Historic Preservation award for its striking, natural charm and our attention to authentic detail. The lounge, loft, bar and apothecary are unforgettable settings for special events, weddings, celebrations, and much more!
