We always enjoy the chance to work with the 7F Lodge venue! Their team is willing to work with you to clarify everything for the event prior to the wedding day. The space is clean and up-to-date with great places to tuck in all of the flowers you want and their staff is always so helpful during the setup process. Highly recommend.

Our property boasts a 7600 square foot barn. Our barn is newly remodeled with a 460 square foot wrap around front porch up-cycled from century old barn beams from Salem, IN. Our venue space inside the barn is home to our White Diamond Chandelier that has 8000 crystals. It is adorned with thousands of twinkle lights, and draped with lightweight gossamer fabric.

Midnight Express Entertainment is a local mobile DJ company since 1983. We have been to literally hundreds of venues in several US States. (Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Georgia) We have had the opportunity to work at White Diamond Lavender Farms several times. Our first time there, it was still a work in progress. They still had many things they wanted to add in the future to their building and outside. They have done an amazing job doing these things, and they are continually improving. Steve, Melinda, and their entire staff are amazing to work with! We always look forward to DJ'ing there and working with them! When we have clients ask about local venues, we always give them information to White Diamond Lavender Farms!

We recently had our wedding at City View Loft & let me just say we fell in love the second we toured it! We also had a winter wedding so the price was also a huge factor! The venue itself it’s already stunning so we had minimal decor, many of our vendors raved about their experience working at CVL and that made us feel confident in our decision! Abbe was our point of communication and she was very welcoming and super down to earth! From the tasting, to the final tour and finally the day of the wedding. She greets you with a huge smile & a hug! The food was through the catering company LM catering and let me just say, if you’re a food lover you can’t go wrong with their menus! Elote, ceviche Hors d’oeuvres & we had mini Chicago style hotdog for late night snack! It’s a gem, and you’d absolutely have a blast working with the team & enjoying your big day here! :)

Oakwood Creek was built in the 1930s by WW Wood and his wife Leanora. Wood drove a truck that hauled dairy milk from the outlying ranches into the town of Julian. Later on, Wood would operate B&L Liquor on the main street. The remains of W's garage are still very apparent on the property today, along with his goat shed & stables. We have one of the last intact water towers in the historic district. The property has been preserved to reflect the period in which it was built. Oakwood Creek made our wedding dreams come true...if you are looking for a rustic, charming, cozy, and intimate venue, look no further - you have found it in Oakwood Creek. As a couple that paid for our wedding ourselves, finding the perfect venue, location, setting all within budget started out challenging. But after one tour at Oakwood Creek, we knew right away we found our venue. (It actually was our first and only tour, that's how certain we were.) We had 35 guests (planned for 40) and it was the perfect size. My husband and I only wanted our closest friends and family so this venue was perfect for us. We were able to get plate rentals through the venue and coordinated all of our vendors through Oakwood Creek. The entire team at Oakwood Creek is amazing. I definitely had a few moments of tears before the wedding after 100% rain was forecasted on my wedding day but the team pivoted everything indoors for the reception and we were able to do the ceremony outside. They all kept me grounded and answered every single one of my questions (there were MANY) lol! My husband and I were fortunate enough to have our wedding reception at The Carter in June. From the moment we first toured The Carter up until a few days after our wedding, Chris (owner/operator) and the rest of The Carter staff went above and beyond for us. Chris was super responsive, so easy to work with, and created such an amazing vision for our day. Chris knows what is important to wedding guests and makes sure to prioritize those things - short lines for the bar, guests having a drink in their hand, food served quickly, etc. Everything about the space is perfect, the bridal suite is huge and has so much natural light. I got ready in the morning in the bridal suite and had 10 bridesmaids, my mom, 2 hair stylists, and 2 makeup artists in the space and there was plenty of room for all of us. Our hair stylists, makeup artists, and my bridesmaids raved about the bridal suite - definitely a huge perk of The Carter! The patio space is perfect for cocktail hour, I loved having that outdoor feature and so did our guests. The entrance/welcome space is stunning and such a great way to welcome guests into the space. The main reception area is so beautiful and has so much character with the brick walls and chandeliers that you need minimal decorations/florals which was a huge draw for me. The dance floor is big and fit our band along with all our guests. We were very fortunate to have a perfect 70 degree day so the garage doors were open throughout the entire cocktail hour and reception which was amazing. Literally, every single guest of ours raved about the space. I could go on and on about how amazing it is!! There is also parking easily available which is very rare for wedding venues in the city. We were also surprised the day of our wedding when they let us up onto the roof to get some fun golden hour shots. We had no idea they had roof space that was accessible for that type of pictures! I can't say enough about the staff at The Carter. I already mentioned how great Chris is. Stefan was a newer addition to The Carter staff and we were fortunate to work with him in the last week leading up to our wedding. He was there to let us drop off stuff a few days prior to the wedding and he had everything organized for us. The day of the wedding, Stefan was making sure our drinks for the bridal suite were on ice, he made sure trash was cleaned up, and would continually check on us to see if we needed anything. He told me, "you're not lifting a finger today" and me and my bridesmaids were so appreciative of everything he did for us. At the cocktail hour and reception, the servers and bartenders were great. Food came out quickly and there were no issues. Stefan was even sweet enough to let us leave some stuff after the reception and my friend came by to get the rest of it on Monday. Moral of the story is The Carter is hands down the best and really wants to make your wedding day perfect for you. Our day was literally perfection and we have The Carter to thank for that!

Ballenger was the perfect location for our small wedding. Truly, I cannot say enough good things about it. It's conveniently located (you can get to the grocery store in 5 minutes if, say, you realize you forgot to get paper plates for all your wedding guests...) but it feels totally removed and magical. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how pretty the farm was. The house is decorated with all sorts of charming touches, the goats/chickens/cats wandering around are adorable, and Liz is such an amazing venue owner. She was incredibly responsive and kind and I want to be her friend (so Liz, uh, call me?). If you're thinking of booking something here, JUST DO IT.

We spent 3 years on the road, living out of our car and exploring North America’s public lands and communities, stumbling upon spaces, places, and people who inspired us and ultimately sharpened the pencil that created Salted Roots. Seward won our hearts, with mountains, the ocean, and a national park right in our backyard. Alaska is wild - wild enough for us vagabonds to settle down roots… and then naturally the idea for Salted Roots sprouted. We bought the land in 2017, were married there shortly after, and began throwing together our future plans for the project with close friends. Our community helped us clear the land, build our website and make our vision a reality.

All of our guests loved the cabins, they were so well designed and the surrounding scenery is gorgeous. Rain or shine it was the best location for a wedding. Kate and all the Viceroy staff were awesome and available to guide as we hosted a small, socially distance and intimate wedding reception. She was always available and flexible. She is the most awesome ambassador for the Viceroy hotels. The hotel was new and well maintained and we loved the outdoor patio where we held our reception. If you are looking a place to host a small outdoor wedding and or reception definitely consider the Viceroy. They heard our concerns and made sure our safety and the safety of our guests was paramount. The food was amazing, definitely try the chicken sandwich!

Elegance Estates was the perfect venue for our April wedding. We got married in a church and had the reception at Elegance Estates, and it was absolutely beautiful. I am a very minimalistic girl, so I did not provide the venue coordinator (Brittany—she’s amazing) with very much decor or direction and she still somehow made everything look perfect. Their catering team is awesome and the food was delicious. The set up provides lots of space for guests to move and mingle, and we had a blast dancing in the ballroom. Would highly recommend! They made wedding planning so easy.

The two separate buildings, "The Grove" Events space and Listening room, and the Trailside Brewing and Tasting Room, offer diverse options for events of different sizes and styles. Our large beer garden adds a cozy and inviting touch, creating a comfortable atmosphere for guests to socialize. With ample free parking spaces, large bathrooms, and a short hike to downtown Hendersonville, Trailside Brewery seems to prioritize guest convenience and accessibility. We had our reception at Trailside this past Fall of 2023. The day of, everything went perfectly. We were given ample time to set up, freedom to move around in the space, and ability to utilize it as we saw fit. The venue usually has live music, but they booked an acoustic band, which set up in the main dining area of the brewery. Our reception was able to play its own music, from speakers we brought, and not feel impacted from the live music going on for the rest of the patrons. Our event did not co-mingle too much with the general public; however there was a couple people that drifted in and we politely asked them to leave. As stated above, our overall day of was all we could have wanted and more. The days leading up to our reception were very stressful due to renovations that weren't quite ready for our event. Since we were the first party in this space, we had to bare the growing pains, which Trailside tried to accommodate for as much as possible. I believe since we were the "test" party, this team will grow from the experience. All in all, our reception day was all we could have wanted and more, so when it came down to the wire, the team delivered.

We had our wedding reception at the Boone County Museum of History on July 6 and it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made in the entire wedding planning process! I grew up going to the museum and we had guests coming up to us all night telling us it was their first time there and how excited they were to see the museum for the first time and how they wanted to come back and spend more time there, and people saying they wanted to spend all night looking through the exhibits. The gallery space was perfect for our 125 guests and there was plenty of space to set up our buffet table, dessert table, and the bar on top of that. There was even enough room for a dance space near the entryway! The museum staff were absolutely the best throughout planning, answering all of our questions right away and helping us to figure out the layout when the time came. We were able to have plenty of personalized touches throughout our decor and our setup, and the staff even allowed us to set up a personalized scavenger hunt throughout the exhibits to find items we'd chosen based on our relationship. The Boone County Museum of History is 100% the best value for a wedding venue you could find in the area and is an absolutely gorgeous and special venue for any of your events, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Belvidere-Rockford area!

We had a last minute shut down of our original wedding venue and had to find a new venue in less than 72 hours. Carly, the owner was absolutely wonderful. Some how this venue was available, and Carly was so accommodating and made everything easy. Our original venue, The Arthouse View and the owners also do floral and decor and they were able to coordinate with Carly and turn this already beautiful venue into the perfect setting and magical night. There are two options for ceremony, and so many fun features for the reception, like a maze (great for photos), a cocktail hour area, a grassy forest area for bonfires and yard games. All of this among the beautiful main house. Highly recommend, go book a tour and see this venue for yourself. You will not be disappointed. :)

I met Kristina and her husband at the Bridal Expo and they were so sweet that I booked them that day. Kristina was always attentive to my questions. She is very detailed oriented and I can appreciate that because I’m the same way. I love that my package included wedding insurance and coordination. I worked with Brandi and Victoria from Next Chapter Weddings. They were very helpful. I suggest paying the extra fee to help with the rehearsal. I had a big wedding party and they helped us to get organized. We decided do the ceremony under the luxury tent. It was beautiful. It was hot outside but the luxury tent provided ample covering and there was a nice occasional breeze so we didn’t get too hot. The reception was in the banquet hall was stunning with two stories. We had the DJ and photo booth upstairs. After the ceremony we flipped the tent to the dance floor and bar area. Once it got dark the tent was light up and it was like dancing under the stars. All my guests commented how beautiful the venue was. The staff was amazing and catered to my needs to make my day flow smoothly. I would definitely recommend them to other couples.

We had our wedding at the knife house, or more a 4-day long weekend with about 50 friends and family. While most stayed at hotels in Palm Springs, the Knife house was the central gathering point and the venue for our ceremony. The house and the grounds are beautiful, but most importantly the host was amazing to work with. Very accommodating to our needs, super responsive and all around professional. The Howe’s and their team truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day ideas come to life! We love the renaissance era but are also quite modern in our style and The English Barn was a perfect combination for our vision. They worked with our budget and made us feel comfortable and knowledgeable through each step of the wedding planning process. When beginning our venue search, we were sticker shocked and began making a list of items included in each venue’s price. The price that you pay for The English Barn is practically all included and save you thousands in the long run! We were able to choose our own vendors, but a list was provided to us if we needed recommendations, and it helped design the day to showcase our love for one another and our love story. The English Barn holds many dear memories for our family. We knew we were eventually going get engaged/married and we began to worry about not have a venue that we absolutely love in time for a 2023 wedding. Therefore, we secured our top choice, The English Barn, prior to even becoming engaged. Yvonne is just a pleasure to work with... very easy to talk to. Willow Pond Venue is an amazing new venue, with lots of flexibility. If the weather is nice, the reception hall has huge bay doors that can open up to the outside, with a beautiful view of the ceremony site and the pond surrounded by trees. There is also a courtyard area that is conveniently located right near the reception hall, and the other building with Bride/Groom suites. And the parking is right in front of the building, so everything is very close by with paved sidewalks, and that makes set-up and breakdown a breeze! The deck reception area was beautifully set up, and the relaxed ambiance was exactly what we had envisioned. One of the highlights was the long reception table in the fireside room, which created a sense of intimacy and allowed all our guests to interact and enjoy the evening together. The staff were exceptional, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and that all our needs were met throughout the day. We had so many compliments from our guests on the service throughout the evening. Tahoe Blue Estate is an 8600 SQ FT Luxury Estate sitting on over 1.7 acres of beautiful South Tahoe mountainside. Our home gives you the ability to not only host your wedding (we have both outdoor/indoor ceremony and reception areas), but also has your accommodations built in as well! During your stay (we have a 3 night minimum stay during non holidays), you have the whole home that can provide overnight accommodations for up to 14 people (7 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms) and you will be able to host your big day for up to 50 guests (including those staying overnight) as well! I've been photographing weddings in the Lake Tahoe area since 2007. I've been luckily enough to photograph weddings at almost every venue around the Lake Tahoe and the Truckee area. When I photographed my first wedding at Tahoe Blue Estate 3 years ago I was floored at how amazing this venue was and couldn't believe that couples could get married here. The views at Tahoe Blue Estate are amazing and seem fake at times even though it's real. Tahoe Blue Estate is one of my top three wedding venues to photograph at in the greater Tahoe area. This is one of those venues that you must see with your own eyes to grasp the pure beauty of the grounds and estate. If you're planning a smaller wedding or an elopement please take a site visit or book them immediately before your date is gone.

Kentlands Mansion is a unique and extremely affordable venue in Gaithersburg, MD. They allow you to bring in whatever vendors you like and also to provide your own alcohol which saves a ton of money too! The grounds are absolutely beautiful! The Mansion is settled in the cutest neighborhood and faces a lake! It has a great little side garden, a back porch and huge front lawn with ample free parking for your guests. The inside is set up as a house so it has a few rooms that your guests can mingle through which creates great flow in your event! It doubles as an art gallery too which is super cool! The KM staff are always helpful, clear and responsive with any questions you may have. They also offer an add-on of a Coordinator for a super reasonable rate, especially when compared to others in the area.

Peggy and Bruce (the owners) couldn't have been kinder and more welcoming and they remained that way the entire process and continue to be! They have so much passion for Inisfree and it shows. The ground are beautiful and immaculate and they truly love to engage with people. We also rented all ten rooms out at the bed and breakfast for our wedding weekend and got special and intimate time with our friends- from pool time, garden/patio hangs, and delicious home made breakfasts (quiche, zucchini bread, blueberry muffins just to name some of my favorites). Our friends/wedding party who stayed onsite continue to rave about their stay and the guests of our wedding party couldn't get over how beautiful the property is. Everyone loved silent disco!!! Do you self a favor and book a tour. The place speaks for itself. We can't wait to return for our anniversary :)

I could not have dreamed of a better venue for our wedding than the Langham Hotel. Fabrina Guzman is so kind, professional, and truly a pleasure to work with. She is amazing at what she does and helped us plan to the very last detail. She constantly made herself available, checked in on planning progress, and ensured all our questions were answered. In the weeks leading up to our wedding date, she coordinated well with my other vendors and really help to alleviate stress by taking a lot off my plate. There was a chance of rain on our wedding day and the night before, she even organized getting us an umbrella that would look nice in photos and had it ready for us in our room. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness is unmatched! The service at our reception was truly 5 star quality. My husband and I were so impressed with the food and beverage service that we are still talking about it weeks later! Many of our guests shared this with us as well. To top it off, the room where we stayed was beautiful and the staff even left a few surprises in our room which really made us feel special. The manor house is beautiful and sits on the top of a hill overlooking Keuka Lake. The view is breath taking and is the perfect spot to hold a wedding. Art is wonderful to work with. From the moment we connected with Wendy we knew we had chosen the right venue. We are from Saint Louis, so trying to find venues 1000 miles away was stressful! This was the first place we flew down to see and it was instant (we legit didn’t look anywhere else!) Amelia, our wedding coordinator was soooooooooo patient and kind answering all our questions! We actually had our wedding dress and suit lost, (8 days before the wedding!) and she saw my post on social media and called just to make sure I was okay! She didn’t have to do that, but she did (believe it or not we didn’t find the dress, but we located exact matches in Tampa when we landed!) There is so much I have to say about this venue and the Director of Events Ivy Manfredi. This venue is just about all inclusive! I just needed hair, makeup, cake, and DJ. The food is incredible, and you can have your rehearsal dinner at this location too! They are great with accommodations when it comes to special diets, as well as special requests. Ivy was there for me from the first walk through to the very last part of my reception! She even rallied together help when my hair and makeup was a no show on the day of. The whole day was a blur but she was there keeping me calm and pushing me through with the kindest heart. Now about the venue itself. WOW! First a golf course is beautiful year round so there is never a bad day. One thing that was so important to me when looking for an outdoor venue was the rain plan. Let me tell you it is just as good as the garden!! You will not end up in a tent or having to walk past your catering if it rains. You have a beautiful fire place surrounded by beautiful glass walls to see the course, and climate control! I also want to mention the price. For what you are getting it is absolutely affordable! Ivy will work with you to find a package that works best with your budget. Last but not least at all the unique experience of being able to visit with the resident sheep on the course!! When I say I looked forward to this for so long I mean it, and they did not disappoint! My Husband and I got amazing photos with them and I will cherish that memory forever! If you are on the fence just take a visit, see the magic for yourself!

We planned an destination wedding with Jodi Cotten. She was prompt with any answers to questions and available when a visit was required. She is a GREAT sounding board and has many suggestions, as she has planned/seen many events. She has worked with many local vendors and all were very complimentary of the staff at LCC. Our year long planning concluded with hurricane Ian making landfall one day prior to our event. Jodi and the staff at LCC went above and beyond to make everything perfect. My new daughter-in-law said she was treated like royalty. The space was laid out as requested, the food was excellent, the bar tenders were attentive, and the wait staff was incredibly professional. I can not provide enough positive feedback about our experience. They turned a difficult weather event into a magical, unforgettable, night. We highly recommend LCC and their staff for your special day.

We couldn't be more happy with our choice to have our wedding ceremony and reception last weekend at CMAC! Adria was very communicative pre-event and easily adjusted our contract when we had to delay our date by one year. She also let us drop stuff off decorations the night before and pick things up the following Monday which was very helpful logistically. M ran our sound and lights and they were very organized and willing to work with us on running a playlist rather than using a DJ. We lucked out with beautiful weather and had our ceremony at the park outdoors but CMAC is really appealing because there's a good option for an indoor ceremony if it rains. The venue overall is absolutely stunning and our guests were raving about how beautiful the historic ballroom was. Great value for the Boston area and a perfect spot for a city wedding, with the airport and many hotels nearby.

One day last July I saw online that The Barn had a cancellation and a wedding date in September. I reached out to inquire and Laura was SO kind, helpful and prompt with communication. We loved the venue and booked, sent out invitations and planned our wedding super quickly (after 10 years together.) Every step of the way went smoothly with planning and communication and we absolutely LOVED having our wedding there. We had room for a live band, there was plenty of parking, lots of great places for photo ops on the property, a lovely bridal room to get ready in, a silo gazebo, we could choose our own caterer, there plenty of seating (we loved the church pews and the wooden chairs,) and there were just so many other nice touches. We bought small glass jars which they filled with their honey (for a reasonable fee) and we gave our guests Honey Blossom Orchard honey as the wedding reception favor. (Btw-their honey IS absolutely delicious!) We can’t say enough good about The Barn as a wedding/reception venue and if you are looking for somewhere relaxed, rustic and beautiful to have your wedding, this is your place:)

The events staff were fantastic - communicative and professional during planning, then warm and laidback on the wedding day itself. They truly went above and beyond, acting as day-of coordinators and helping ensure everything ran smoothly. It was wonderful having their expertise guiding us. Despite being such a unique, Instagram-worthy venue, the BMI is very fairly priced. We got great value for money. I can't recommend the BMI highly enough for couples wanting an affordable, one-of-a-kind wedding with fantastic service. We were absolutely floored by the staff's hard work and dedication, both leading up to and on our special day. It was perfect thanks to them!

We had our wedding at the Collins off Main in August and it was everything we could imagine and more!! The space itself lends you to have whatever vibe for your wedding you could want and the team at the Collins is really what makes the place. We were going for a garden lush elegant yet fun wedding and had the best time. We liked getting to choose all of our vendors, having flexibility with bar/food service, a different space for ceremony (at the Clocktower a block away), and most of all having an outdoor area that is tasteful and fun. We also loved the after-party feature and it was so easy to move guests there after the reception ended. Jess and the team were thorough with the design planning and took what was in our brains and put it into the venue seamlessly (from the couples perspective) working with the other vendors; as well as acting as day of coordinator being extremely helpful. They have decor which couples can borrow and also easy to collaborate with rentals for chairs, table ware, etc. We enjoyed staying in the suite the night before and after the wedding which made getting ready and pictures go smoothly. I would recommend the Collins off Main to anyone!!

A century-old building that was once a thriving coat factory is now a thoroughly modern space that is customizable for a truly memorable event.

Everything from to the visuals, the staff, the food, was fantastic day of! The layout was perfect for my 125 person wedding allowing for my dance floor to be directly in the center. The space itself is gorgeous with exposed brick and wooden floors. The second floor patio is a lifesaver for the dance floor lovers needing to cool down. Even though my cocktail reception was just downstairs, the entire feel is completely different, promoting and Irish pub setting with elegant lighting. Staff was extremely efficient, and the bartenders were so personal! Gabrielle was my coordinator, and she went above and beyond during the entire planning process. She even added the personalized touch of having our signature drinks served in pineapples (as this this was how he proposed). Minor hiccups with pricing/guarantees due to the switching of hands, but fair compromises were put in place to offset this. Due to the flawless execution day of, and the hard work Gabrielle put in to make sure my day went off perfectly, I would absolutely recommend Loft 28 West!

Great space and location for a wedding reception. The space is very artsy with paintings lining the halls. They have tables, chairs, 1 large and 2 small bars to use for your event. Everything else is mostly figure it out yourself but they do help along the way. Be aware that you will have to break the whole room down before midnight and if you rent anything it must be out by that time as well. This does mean certain rental companies will charge you more for pickups at midnight on the night of your event.

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space. These venues are often less expensive because you are only paying for the space itself, and you’ll have to bring in outside vendors
