Cricket's Photo & Cinema

5.0

Winter Garden, FL
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,500

We are a husband and wife team (Cricket and Sean) that started Cricket’s Photo and Cinema. We shot our first wedding in 2006 and haven’t looked back. From celebrity weddings to intimate ones they are all special in our eyes. Our photos have been featured in national magazines (People, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Shutter Magazine, Rangefinder, Bridal Guide and more), newspapers world wide, online blogs (Huffington post, Buzzfeed, PopSugar, Wedding Chicks, CNN, Love Stories TV, etc ), and even featured on Good Morning America! We have 4 children. They bring us much joy, laughter and grey hairs.

The BEST decision we made! Photography and videography is all that’s left after the wedding so it was the most important decision. Her photos were all over the office of our wedding venue and I knew I had to have her. We had almost 1600 shots and not a single one I didn’t like. Her night shots are unique and unbelievable, make sure to get plenty of those! Her team is amazing, easy to work with, and didn’t miss a detail. Rain rolled in right before our ceremony and I was so nervous. Cricket had an app timing the weather, kept shooting without missing a beat and timed it perfectly before the rain started. We did the video which I highly recommend. I wanted the highlight reel which I loved and we have watched hundreds of times. We ended up getting the full video which I wasn’t sure I needed but so glad we got it. After we ended up doing an album and once again Cricket blew me away! It was so professional and laid out perfect. No way I could have done that on my own. Photography, videography, and an album was an investment but the best spent part of our budget and I don’t regret a penny. Don’t hesitate and book them now!

Anna Peters Photography

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $7,500

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Anna spent nearly two decades training as a classical ballerina and photographing dance, often sneaking cameras backstage to shoot from the wings while still in costume. She was hooked on wedding photography instantly - the mosaic of emotion and energy that cascades across a wedding day felt like a natural extension of the magic she chased on stage as a dancer. Anna lives and works out of Seattle, though she’s lucky enough to follow her clients up and down the West Coast and occasionally across the globe.

I cannot give enough positive praise for Anna and her beautiful work. Her talent is incredible and is only surpassed by her true compassion for people. Both create a perfect scenario for stunning wedding photography, especially her film photography. She took the time to understand the vision for our wedding and the relationships most important to us so we could have photos that match our priorities. Anna also has a wonderful balance of professionalism and chillness. We were never stressed from photo to photo. She let us know what to expect and also found opportunities for magically unplanned moments. Her photos on our walls are memories we'll cherish for a lifetime.

I’m all about art and creativity. I absolutely love photography and capturing moments for families and couples. It means a lot to have people appreciate your work and cherish it because it means a lot to them. It’s also cool to have clients who not only enjoy my work with M28 but also become a fan of my own personal projects. I am an activist in every sense of the word. I advocate for issues that speak out against injustices and inequality in an attempt to make the world better for our children.

The Summerset team is the warmest and most professional team. We were nervous about finding a photographer we felt comfortable with, since my husband and I are on the shy side when it comes to photos. Since meeting Mack at a wedding event, we were instantly drawn to working with them. Since then, each person from their team that we worked with was incredible. The process starts off with a call where they get to know you and based on what you are looking for and wanting, they match you with a photographer that is a good fit. And they did such a great job matching us. We worked with Dominique as our lead photographer and had so much fun with her at our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. For our wedding we worked with Dominique and Marcus for photography and Mack as our content creator. They made us feel comfortable and made sure we had fun throughout our wedding. Not only that, but they brought incredible energy. As an added challenge for them, we also have incredibly camara shy family memebers that they were able to take out of their shells and made incredibly comfortable. After spending just few minutes with the team, us and our families were comfortable posing and taking photos, as they almost make you forget there is a camara there. It has only been a few days and because we had the content creator package, we already got an amazing video and previews of our photos. We have no doubt all of our photos will be incredible, and the videos that were captured were so special. They were able to find moments for us to connect with one another in the midst of a lot of activity. Could not recommend them enough.

Capturing love stories all over the world. With a keen eye for detail and a love for genuine emotions, I strive to capture the essence of your unique love story. Each image is crafted with care, ensuring that your wedding day is not just an event but a timeless, cherished experience. I would love to be a part of your journey, preserving the magic and elegance of your celebration through our lens. Love all.

My husband and I got married in August of 2021. COVID-19 restrictions were winding down, however, we did have family attending the wedding from another country (and the border was still closed while we were planning our wedding earlier in 2021). When we were searching for vendors, we hoped that we could find someone that would be considerate of our additional difficulties of planning an (international) wedding. We also hoped that our photographer would be someone that would “join” our wedding, rather than “direct” the wedding. From the first phone call with Emily, to our engagement photo session, and our wedding, Emily exceeded all our expectations. While discussing the wedding, she made us feel our concerns and wishes were heard, providing her own experienced feedback along the way. She was prepared and flexible on our wedding day (which ended up being a rainy, outdoor wedding). As we hoped, she effortlessly and gracefully joined our wedding as what felt like just another family member. She kindly guided everyone throughout all organized photos and captured many beautiful candid photos as well. Emily is extremely talented in capturing amazing moments with exceptional photo style/quality. My husband and I (as well as many others that were part of our wedding) kept saying over and over how wonderful Emily was. Our wedding photos are displayed throughout our house and on our phones, laptops, etc. Emily went above and beyond to capture our day exactly as it was so that we could hold onto it forever through our photos. Since our wedding in 2021, we’ve worked with Emily on two other occasions, and she has continued to amaze us with her photos. We hope that she can join us in future significant family moments, because at this point, she feels like family!

Meeting around 10 years ago and instantly becoming best friends, Jason and Nichole have now been married for 5 beautiful years. They share two children and when they aren't creating amazing wedding day memories for their clients they are out exploring. You can find them skiing, hiking, camping, and even traveling the country in their van when time permits!

Nichole and Jason have been nothing but professional throughout our booking process, engagement photos, and wedding weekend. All of the photos we've received so far we have been absolutely blown away with how good they are. They were great communicating to make sure our needs were met. We felt so comfortable with them and see them not only as our wedding photographer and videographer but someone my husband and I could be friends with. They were really great making sure our Indian fusion wedding was beautifully captured. I can't wait to see all of the photos but the sneak peaks were so good. They also asked questions about the ceremonies that we had to ensure they knew how best to document as well as wanting to sincerely learn more about the culture. You will not regret hiring these two. I would hire them both again in a heartbeat! This husband/wife team creates magic!

Hello! I'm Christina! *I believe big love happens in the small moments. *I LOVE learning about your love story! *Chasing dreamy light for your portraits thrills me! *My favorite parts of a wedding day are the parts that show off the kind of life you’ve built & tell the story of who you are- the private vows, speeches, & stories shared throughout the day. I live to be the wallflower witnessing & capturing these moments. It is such an honor that I look forward to every weekend.

My husband and I used Golden Gower Photographer to capture our December wedding. Christina captured each moment and every emotion of our day perfectly. Christina as a photographer is kind, warm and encouraging. She has a special ability to make her clients feel comfortable and heard. Christina is quick to respond to any questions or concerns, and is prepared with solutions to calm any nerves. From our engagement shoot, to our wedding day, we are impressed not only with the quantity of pictures, but the quality of the photos as well. It is clear Christina took her time and put thought and care into each individual picture, and we feel so fortunate to have these beautiful pictures to look back on for years to come.

Samantha Bold

Concord, NH

  • Starts at $3,000

First off Congratulations on your engagement! I’ve have been shooting weddings since 2015. I only book about a handful of weddings a year. Quality over quantity is my main reason that I only take on about 3 to 5 weddings & elopements a year. Please reach out ASAP if you are interested in working together before I book up for 2023!

Samantha photographed my wedding in July 2021. I can’t say enough good things about my experience working with her. From the moment we hired her, to when we received our photos Samantha was always going above and beyond to make this a personal and once in a lifetime experience. She took time to meet with us and discuss what we envisioned for our big day. She found ideas on Pinterest that might work well for us and shared them, so we could get comfortable posing for the camera. She met with us several times before the wedding to work out all the details and make sure everything went smoothly and we got all the photos we wanted. On our big day Samantha brought a combination of professionalism, fun and a personal touch which made us feel comfortable posing for the camera. Samantha was completely in communication after the wedding to make sure we knew the timeline of when we would receive the photos. The pictures came out beautiful!!! There was a perfect mix of poses and different backgrounds which made the photos incredibly interesting and stunning. I can’t say enough good things about Samantha and would recommend her to anyone I know.

Hi! Bonjour! Caio! I'm Dani! Fine art wedding + portrait photographer specializing in Colorado mountaintop weddings and photoshoots. Originally from Texas, but my adorable little ski town of Breckenridge, Colorado is my happy place. My team collectively serves all of Colorado, as well as worldwide destinations. I truly LOVE what I do; I grew up in the wedding industry and never wanted to leave. My style has been described as timeless, romantic, natural, and elegant, and my clients tend to share in my love for natural light, breathtaking landscapes, precious details, and of course, adventure.

We've loved working with Dani over the years, and honestly her talent, heart, and creative lens are what captivated us to her work initially! We adore her editing and photography style, it's effortless, light + bright, and timeless. She has captured the essence of our boutique for store/branding/lookbook photos, she has also photographed several of our bride's weddings + her honest work ethic and down-to-earth nature make her an absolute joy to work with! Not only is she a total Colorado mountaineer novice - her outdoor photography is second to none; she can flip a switch to navigate the most beautiful angles in an industrial wedding venue, no matter the location. She's a gem + you won't regret hiring her for any wedding or project!

The Ganeys

5.0

Lafayette, CA
  • Fine art style

I’ve always been the girl with the camera. In high school, my idea of a good time was planning photoshoots with my friends and editing our high school yearbook. But when I got to college, I felt like I needed to get a practical degree, so I chose the most creative business major I could find – marketing. Then I met Thomas. My photo hobby became something more because he recognized my passion and encouraged me to make it a reality. He’s been my second shooter since the very first wedding.

I've been putting off writing this review because I feel like no words can fully explain the amazing experience I had with the Ganeys. I first met Emily and Thomas when I was a bridesmaid in my friends' wedding in Florida, which the Ganeys were shooting! Based on that day and the resulting photos, I knew how talented this pair was and I REALLY wanted them for my own wedding. After getting engaged, I actually reached out to Emily before we even had a venue or date booked. Once they signed on to be our wedding photographers, my (already high) expectations were totally exceeded. I loved how organized, detailed-oriented, and responsive Emily was as we planned our engagement shoot and wedding day. At the engagement shoot, they did an amazing job including our 2 golden retrievers and shooting in sub-optimal weather conditions. Emily is so kind, thoughtful, and talented as a photographer, and Thomas is the secret ingredient that makes grooms everywhere feel at ease! This husband and wife team communicates so well and I believe that is part of the reason why they make their jobs look so effortless and fun on your wedding day and why the photos are so breathtaking. We can't wait to host Emily and Thomas at our house in a few weeks, and show off the way we've displayed their photos around the house!! I would be more than happy to share my full gallery and answer questions from any other brides/grooms considering the Ganeys.

Heras Creatives LLC

El Paso, TX

  • Starts at $1,650

I'm an experienced wedding photographer who is passionate on capturing all details about my client's weddings. When your wedding is over, your photos & memories are what you will keep forever. This is what you will show your children and grand children about your special day.

Jesus was phenomenal to work with and overall Heras Creative LLC went beyond any epectations we could have had. First ande foremost he was very easy tonwork with as we wanted to make sure we had a LGBTQ friendly photgrapher! No complaints no issues there. He treated us like any other client. Also the pricing, wow! we went with their wedding package. It's fair, actually it much more than fair for the quality of the product, customer service, and overall professionalism that you recieve. Jesus is approachable, knowledgeable, and skilled. Taking photos and posing can be awkward but it felt very organic under his instruction. Plus the pictures, gosh were they pretty. If he makes a recommendation for the time of day, pose, or lighting PLEASE take it! Our guests LOVED every picture. You won't regret it. Our court had nothing but positive feedback. And let me tell you I was surprised by some of the moments he caught because the stress was high and myself and my husband were CONSTANTLY on the move. I can't thank him enough. I mean he was so impressive that one of our bridesmaids asked for his information and wants him for her upcoming wedding. We are all in with Heras Creative. At this point they will be our go to for any and every photo op. If you're looking for, quality. If your looking for quantity. If your looking for professionalism. If your looking for overall great people. You should be looking into working with Heras Creative

I'm a San Francisco bay area based wedding photographer. However, I am available for travel anywhere! Passport is ready and willing! Truth: I am slightly obsessed with all things girly, and anything that sparkles. Ok, well, maybe it's not slightly, more like severely. I think it's because I live in a house full of boys; I have an amazing hubby and 3 little men. Shooting weddings and seeing people on their amazing day is my happy place. When I'm shooting your wedding I want it to be so fun and relaxed that you are able to enjoy the process.

Brooke and Laurel photographed our wedding in November 2023 at Casa Real in Pleasanton, CA. We started at 10am and ended around 9pm (a long day!!). Brooke was extremely communicative and detailed oriented through the entire planning process. On the wedding day, Brooke and Laurel were awesome the entire time, guiding us through lighting, poses, and making sure everything was captured. They were also extremely nice, and it was so much fun to work with them. Highly recommend!!

She kept in touch with us at all times and her price was beyond reasonable!!! Thank you, Brittany for the wonderful memories we’ll have forever!!

Here are just a few quick facts about me! I graduated magma cum laude from USF with a degree in business. Education is important to me because I believe what I learn directly benefits you as my client. For this reason, I have also taken several photography courses such as: posing, shooting, editing, styling, lighting, etc. Most days, you can find me at Target, the park with my son, listening to 1920s music or my husband play guitar, volunteering with our local church, watching the Tampa Bay Lightning, or supporting a local small business.

Boy, I cannot recommend Cali enough. She was worth every single last penny. A few words about Cali herself: she is so easy going, kind, thoughftul, but also gets her work done! She did such a great job posing us and even gave us instructions on how to cut our wedding cake while taking pictures. An absolute GEM! So classic, so timeless, totally understood our vision ASAP. As for the pictures, stunning is an understatement. I feel like our wedding looks like it should be out of a magazine. Honestly I was a bit regretful we did not get a videographer all said and done, but getting our wedding album back from Cali was just good enough! It felt like we were reliving our wedding day in movie format because Cali captured every single moment and emotion from getting ready to the first look to standing at the alter and the crowd to cocktail hour candids to the rowdy dancefloor/bouquet toss. She is a FABULOUS editor as well. Talent truly is an understatement here. Also if you are able to, book her husband Chris as well for your big day. These two work as the most perfectly seamless DREAM TEAM. PLEASE do yourself a favor and look no further than Cali as your wedding day photographer. Feel so unbelievably blessed to share our special day with her and hope we can connect down the road again due to her talent and sheer genuineness. I already have 2-3 of my friends that want to use her for their big days!

After working in corporate communications for brands such as KCI and AT&T, I chose to create my own career path and start a photography and video studio. Inspired by my family and friends, I find joy telling love stories, and helping families document the most important moments in their lives. I love that I get to work with my best friend and husband. We have 2 sons that are the light in our lives.

Sonia is an absolute pleasure to work with. I've had the opportunity to work with Sonia on a couple styled shoots both as a photographer and as a videographer. She is not only super sweet and easy to communicate with, she is very talented. Her attention to detail, her services, and her products are exemplary and I know I can always trust her when recommending to my clients. She is well respected in the industry and someone who I admire and respect.

About wedding photographers

How much does a wedding photographer cost?

Wedding photographers early in their careers can cost as little as $1,500. Super experienced photographers, as seen in magazines like Vogue and Vanity Fair, can cost upwards of $30,000. The range is wide, but, in general, you can expect to spend around 10% of your budget on wedding photography. Rates also vary based on wedding length, the services you want, and location. A photographer based in an area with a lower cost of living, for example, will be less than one based in New York or San Francisco.

How much should we tip our wedding photographer?

A good rule of thumb is to tip 10% of their rate, or at least $100. If they’re bringing second photographers or assistants, an additional $50 to $75 per person is an appropriate and nice gesture.

What questions should we ask wedding photographers?

Aside from logistical questions about packages, pricing, and availability, it’s also important to use your conversation to get a sense of their personality. This person will be with you and your loved ones every step of your wedding day, including, if you want, in the dressing room! It’s very important that you and your partner both feel comfortable with them and their working style. Talk about your venue, how you want to feel when you look at your photos, and which photos from their portfolio you like best.
