The Rosy Posy

5.0

Manassas, VA
  • Starts at $6,000

Lisa is the owner and head florist here at The Rosy Posy! She first fell in love with floral design when she was just 15 years old after discovering her natural talent for the art. Growing up in York, England (one of the oldest cities in England!) Lisa learned classic floral design and mastered in European wedding design. After attending college, she traveled throughout the world completing programs and taking classes from other masters of floral design. The Rosy Posy is a woman owned small business, completely family owned and operated! Lisa’s sweet pup is a golden retriever named “Rosy”, hence The Rosy Posy name!

We cannot recommend the Rosy Posy highly enough! Their floral designs for our wedding were breathtaking and their execution was immaculate. Everything from my bridal bouquet to the table centerpieces to the floral arrangements on the pergola were perfect. Their pure artistic talent commends them to anyone, but it is the Rosy Posy’s professionalism that truly sets them apart. We came into this process completely naive and without any clear initial vision but the Rosy Posy went above and beyond in helping us determine our actual needs, including practical and honest guidance on balancing budgeting and aesthetics. They even went so far as to invite us to their studio to show us their products and designs, even arranging for table mock ups using sample linens we obtained from our other vendors, which was extremely helpful. But even having this initial preview, seeing the final result at our venue still took our breath away. Rest assured, with the Rosy Posy, your wedding is in excellent hands!

5.0

Boone, NC

Our mother-daughter team specializes in creating currated floral designs that realize the beauty of the event as you envision it. We consider it our joy to help you achieve your unique wedding - making it a reflection of you and your story. Our style is very naturalistic and derives its inspiration from the beauty of the mountains and the soft, graceful lines found in nature. We believe that flowers should speak to your heart, kindle a sentiment, and awaken a beloved memory.

Hannah and her team are the essence of professionalism. Kind, courteous, and easy to work with, not to mention incredibly talented. Golden Thistle's designs are anything but ordinary, yet exude classic bridal beauty all the same. Not only have I recommended their services to countless brides as a wedding planner, but I have also used Hannah's beautiful designs for myself. This team values sustainability and uses local blooms often, hand dyed ribbons, and minimal floral foam. From the tiniest boutonnière with blueberries picked from her own garden to the largest Moongate arbor, Hannah and her team ensure every bloom is perfect and bursting with character. Working with Hannah is to begin as a client and end as a friend, and I couldn't recommend her enough.

    Wild Orchid Custom Floral Design

    5.0

    Maple Park, IL

Marie Pauly is the Owner of Wild Orchid Custom Floral Design and Tim Pauly, her husband is Co-Owner. Right from the beginning Tim and I were inseparable and it was obvious we would be together forever. After marrying in 1980, we moved to the small western suburbs to raise our children and opened “The Wildflower” shop in 1989, which specialized in silk arrangements and gifts. Trends changed and The Wildflower slowly rebranded into Wild Orchid and focused specifically on fresh floral design. From weddings to sympathy arrangements; Wild Orchid grew with referrals and to this day prides itself on satisfied client referrals. I strive to treat each couple as if they were my own family and work to make their big day everything they dreamed of and more. My better-half, Tim, serves as the backbone to Wild Orchid with his behind the scenes dedication to the business. He helps with wedding day logistics to make sure everything arrives en-tact and also creates custom decor elements for various events.

Marie and her Team make magic happen. Our wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. Marie is who I mainly spoke to and she is so easy to work with . She understood the vision we had for our day and made it come to life. 11/10 would recommend Wild Orchid !! ️

      Emily Herzig Floral Studio

      Littleton, NH
      • Starts at $6,000

We are an independent floral design studio based in Littleton, New Hampshire. We provide exceptional floral and styling services to brides and their planners throughout Northern New England. Our goal is to translate your vision into the perfect wedding day- one that you will remember forever. Each bouquet, arrangement, floral installation and décor detail is created with fresh, beautiful, in-seasonal flowers with an artful and passionate expert design hands.

Flowers are so important to me and I knew from the beginning what my vision was. A little background I am from MA and my wedding was held in Whitefield NH so I had to do ALOT of researching to find my vendors. I searched for floral shops in the area and stumbled across Emily's page and I couldn't be more happy I did!!! Emily is a pleasure to work with and so thorough. She is so easy to talk to and truly loves her work you can tell by her excitement when discussing your project and the final product. Every time we talked I hung up feeling confident about the conversation, which may seem strange to say but during the wedding planning process you would be surprised at how many conversations you have that end and just dont sit right. After we chatted a bit and I sent her my inspiration pictures she sent me back the contact and my goodness even that was beautiful! Now I am a type A personality so I am very organized and thorough myself but let me tell you that contract was excellent. It listed the flowers she intended to use and my color pallet etc. When you see it you'll know! She completely understood what I wanted every suggestion she made was right on track with my taste. I LOVE how she uses different kinds of plants and flowers and just puts it all together and your bouquet becomes an actual work of art. I was speechless when she brought them in they were better them I could have imagined they were PERFECT! Make your life simple and have Emily make your wedding perfect with her flowers and personality you will not be disappointed!!!!

Amberworks and specifically the owner, Amber, was very key in making my wedding dreams come to life! First off, she was really great to work with. She always got back to me quickly, communicated clearly, and was always super professional. Secondly, she was so detail oriented and asked questions that I hadn't even thought about. Her thoroughness allowed her to understand exactly what florals I wanted on my wedding day, even though I was not very articulate about it. She even surprised me with out of season flowers (peonies) in my bouquet, which was the cherry on top! I would recommend Amberworks to anyone who wants quality florals for their wedding!

      Floriography

      5.0

      Blue Springs, MO
      • Starts at $3,500

Hi there, I'm Emma, the owner and lead designer of Floriography. With over 8 years of experience in floral design and hundreds of weddings brought to fruition, you can entrust me with the design of one of your most special days. I take on a very limited amount of weddings each year to ensure each couple the dedication and attention their wedding deserves and it's my pleasure to assist in bringing their visions to life!

Booking Emma for our wedding florist was one of the best choices we made for our wedding day. We met with Emma for the first time over two years before our wedding day, and truly felt that we could immediately trust her to bring to life the dream we had. Florals were a very important part of our wedding design for me, and Emma truly knocked it out of the park. It was easy to tell that she had meticulously planned every detail and hand picked every single flower that went into our wedding day designs. Her work was so stunning, from the bouquets, to the smaller arrangements, to the massive hanging installation she designed and executed for our head table. The statement pieces were so beautiful have been talked about by our guests non stop since our wedding day. Emma was extremely easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, and we cannot recommend her enough!

        Blushington Blooms

        5.0

        Fort Worth, TX
        • Starts at $4,500

Blushington Blooms is a floral and event design company specializing in luxury weddings and events. We serve the DFW area with consultation offices in Dallas and Fort Worth. Our signature design style is light and airy with various depths and unique textures. We love to experiment with new foliages, berries, and blooms! Our clients adore our timeless floral designs and have even referred to us as "Interior Designers" for their event. We are honored to be considered as your florist and would love to share this special season with you! From everyone at Blushington Blooms, we hope to hear from you soon!

Sophie and her team at Blushington were so wonderful! I was getting really worried about florals about halfway through the planning process (we were only engaged for 5 months). All the floral companies I spoke with were so so so expensive and just didn't really click with me. I saw on LinkedIn (of all places) that Blushington had done a wedding at our venue the month before. I immediately reached out to her, got a response right away, and went in to meet with Sophie. I can't tell you the relief I felt when we sat down and started chatting. Right away Sophie had a vision for what I wanted, and with her expertise she was able to translate my badly shapen ideas into the most beautiful floral design! Everyone knows that flowers for weddings can get very (very) pricey. But Sophie works to try to keep the costs down as much as possible. For instance, repurposing bridal and bridesmaid bouquets at the reception, which I so appreciated! She even came to our venue for a walk through and had the best idea to put a floral arch in a place that I never would've thought to put it. On the day of, her team showed up and created the ballroom of my dreams. And y'all. My bouquet. I was beside myself. Sophie and Blushington were incredible to work with, fun, upbeat, offer reasonable prices, and delivered stunning flowers that I wish could've lasted forever. Highly, highly recommend them for all your floral needs, wedding and otherwise!

        Blossom Bliss

        5.0

        York, PA
        • Starts at $5,000

Located in York, PA, Blossom Bliss is a homegrown floral design company run by Kristen Adams. Specializing in unique floral installations + wedding day florals, Kristen and her team bring artistry and a fresh, organic style to your special events.

Kristen and the entire team at Blossom Bliss are incredible. Even from the very first intro call, Kristen's expertise, passion and kindness were apparent – and that remained true throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was responsive and worked closely with us to make sure our proposal was exactly what we wanted it to be. But most importantly, the way Kristen and her team brought our vision to life on our wedding day left us absolutely speechless (literally had no words when we first saw the reception space). The arrangements that she created were stunning, BEYOND anything that we even envisioned. Her work really pulled the entire event together, and so many guests commented on the incredible tablescapes as well. Also, I love that Blossom Bliss donates all remaining flowers (I believe they go to nursing homes and/or local hospitals if I'm remembering correctly). Knowing that the flowers were going to put a smile on someone else's face, rather than get thrown away after the wedding, brought a lot of joy. I highly, highly, highly recommend hiring Blossom Bliss for your event. You will not be disappointed!

        A Bloom Studio

        5.0

        Sunnyside, WA
        • Starts at $1,000

HI THERE, I’M KIRSTIE! When my hands aren’t full of flowers, you will most likely find me curled up on the couch with a good book + my cat, adventuring around the beautiful West Coast with my husband, or finding treasures at the thrift store. My passion for flowers began as a little girl. I would sit near our family garden & watch the butterflies land on every flower, fascinated with how much beauty each flower had. Years later, while working at my college’s greenhouse, my passion was sparked back to life & I fell in love with every aspect of working with flowers. Growing them, caring for them & designing with them.

Kirstie with A Bloom Studio is amazing to work with! As a photographer who has been in business for 9 years, I can say that she is professional, creative, personable and easy to work with. She takes clients ideas and brings something to life that is absolutely amazing! We did an elopement together at Crate Lake National Park that was a busy and full day. She overdelivered and made sure everything went so smoothly from delivery to set-up, seeing the day through and being a support to the team. She is wonderful to work with, easy to communicate and on top of every aspect for floral creations!

        About wedding florists

How much do wedding bouquets cost?

Wedding bouquets vary in cost by bouquet size, quantity and density of blooms, season, and flower type. Your wedding location and cost of living will also have an impact. In general, you can expect to pay $200–$400 for a larger main bouquet, and $100–$250 for smaller wedding party bouquets. Communicate openly with your florist about your budget and vision—colors and inspirational photos are often more helpful to your florist than specific types of flowers.

How can we save money on our wedding flowers?

Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. Talk openly with your florist about the look you want to achieve, rather than specific flowers you want. They can suggest flower species and options to make your vision happen in a way that fits your budget.
