Our names are Khalid & Lakmali! We are a husband & wife wedding photographer duo based in Raleigh, NC. We started taking photography seriously about 4 years ago after shooting our first wedding for a high school friend and absolutely fell in love with the whole process! I grew up in Georgia and spent the best 4 years of my life at Appalachian State University getting a degree in Commercial Photography. I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.

I am an photographer and videographer based in Atlanta Ga. Photography has aways been a passion of mine and it feels like I have had a camera in my hands my whole life. After graduating top of my class from SCAD with my BFA in photography I have been doing it full time!
