“Anthony was easy to work with at the wedding. I was a DJ at the wedding I worked with him and from an artistic standpoint, what I saw of his work so far was great. Just like the rest of the vendors at this wedding, he went with the flow and went above and beyond to give the couple the best experience they could get especially under the crazy weather circumstances we had! Rain almost all day, thunderstorms, a tornado warning (it was an outdoor tent wedding) and some high winds that almost took out the tent! Despite that, he remained positive and fun. His needs from me were minimal (tapping into my sound system) and he made sure I wasn't busy when he asked me about it. “We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. I almost cried when I saw our first look photos because I don't feel very confident being photographed and I finally had dozens of photos of myself and my husband that I want to share with friends immediately and cherish forever. He delivered the first look so fast, even though I know he was busy working another wedding; I thought for sure we would have to wait longer. “Avec L'Amour captured our wedding in June of 2023. We went with Avec L'Amour because we really liked the style and felt the prices were extremely reasonable compared to some of the other videographers out there. We went with the package that included the highlight film and the feature-length film. The audio on the feature-length film is a little tough to hear because of all the background noise, but we were outdoors and in front of a lake, so it’s understandable. While planning for our wedding, we worked directly with John. He had great energy and seemed very prepared every time we interacted with him. However, we never met John in-person because the day before our wedding, he reached out saying he could no longer make it and would be sending a replacement instead. This was understandably very stressful, but fortunately the replacement he sent was awesome. We would have liked to know this update earlier if possible, however we know that’s not always possible, and this was our only complaint in working with him. When John sent us the footage of our wedding, we were so happy with it with the exception of one place where the audio didn’t match up, one place where suddenly the video went purple, and the fact that one of our best man’s speeches was completely left out of the highlight reel; we brought these concerns to John, and he fixed them with no hesitation in a timely manner. Though we can’t review John’s videography or wedding day presence directly, we did have a good experience with his company and would recommend it!”

“Darryl did a phenomenal job DJing our wedding reception. For starters, he was extremely easy to work with and very communicative. “Setting up and planning everything with the person online was wondering and really gave me high hopes! Everything went super smoothly. They gave me a comprehensive shopping list and helped finesse all the recipes for our mocktail bar. Also checked in a few times prior to the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page. Now the bartender who came was a different story. She forget several of her tools needed including knives for all the garnishes. I had bought quite a bit of oranges, lemons, limes etc. She was also incredibly rude and several people remarked to me about that during the wedding day and after the wedding. She looked miserable and angry the whole time at the wedding. The only time I went to the bar, she wasn’t there and after about 10 minutes of waiting around, she came back and I asked to try all my mocktails and she gave me a judgy look and said that she was already made a drink for the bride earlier. I asked again and finally after my husband asked with me she made them but reluctantly. Mind you, this was a nonalcoholic bar. Overall liked Bucky’s, but the bartender was who worked with them was having an off day.”
