His knowledge and passion for many genres of music was evident from the get go, he was both personable and professional, and he had a genuine enthusiasm for our event. As someone who had a strong vision of the vibe I wanted for our wedding reception, planning the playlist with DJ D-Mac felt like the true collaborative process of my dreams. He took my must play/do not play lists and ran with them, making additional suggestions and unique mixes. He went above and beyond the call of duty in helping troubleshoot sound-related issues with the venue, making lighting suggestions, and even helping us find an excellent karaoke vendor for our after party. His personal style and the style of his DJ setup were sleek, cool, and a little retro, which only added to the wedding aesthetic. Most importantly, DJ D-Mac had an uncanny ability to read the dance floor and know which songs would keep people moving, seamlessly weaving together an eclectic dream mix of everything from '60s soul, disco, '90s R&B, and even Dolly Parton. “Mariandree was a real gem to work with! We had originally planned our ceremony and small reception for Dec. 2020, but because of COVID had to make some changes. We kept our outside (super cold) ceremony for that December and Mariandree was more than willing to accommodate, given the circumstances. She was a real trooper out there with us on the freezing Waterfront, and we got some amazing photos back within a week! Mariandree was more than gracious to allow us to reschedule the second half of our photoshoot for September 2021 where we finally got to enjoy a small backyard reception. “Anthony was easy to work with at the wedding. I was a DJ at the wedding I worked with him and from an artistic standpoint, what I saw of his work so far was great. Just like the rest of the vendors at this wedding, he went with the flow and went above and beyond to give the couple the best experience they could get especially under the crazy weather circumstances we had! Rain almost all day, thunderstorms, a tornado warning (it was an outdoor tent wedding) and some high winds that almost took out the tent! Despite that, he remained positive and fun. “We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. I almost cried when I saw our first look photos because I don't feel very confident being photographed and I finally had dozens of photos of myself and my husband that I want to share with friends immediately and cherish forever. He delivered the first look so fast, even though I know he was busy working another wedding; I thought for sure we would have to wait longer. The wedding package we chose included very nice touches like polaroids so we had something in hand at the end of the wedding day itself, too. It was very thoughtful and left us feeling good about the whole experience right away. He was very personal and nice to work with, but not intrusive, and went with the little schedule changes we had, and was open to suggestions while we took post-ceremony photos around the city. “We had our wedding reception at a brewery and wanted some easy to eat sweet and salty snacks. These popcorn flavors were delicious, they sent us flavors to try before we decided. We chose 4 flavors and they shipped them right to our house. The popcorn buckets had our cute custom labels which they designed for us and looked PERFECT! We had tons of compliments on the popcorn.
