“Our experience with Ashlyn and Sea and Shea was amazing from start to finish! Ashlyn from the booking process through delivery of our edited wedding photos has been a joy to work with. Our time has been so great with Ashlyn and her fun and bubbly personality really keeps the long days of photos light and carefree. We were kind of against doing engagement photos but after a couple of hours running around downtown Charleston and really getting to know her and feel more comfortable in front of the camera it did help tremendously on wedding day. Also, our engagement photos turned out AMAZING! Day of wedding, Ashlyn and her team were professional and on top of it. She got all the shots I wanted and more and our end result photos could not have turned out more perfect :) we are still in awe at the results. Evelyn, the owner, and her crew, went above and beyond to make sure my new husband (I love saying that!) and I had a great time, with perpetually full cups, and guests who were given perfect service (but not over served. The winning combination in a bartender). She was incredibly easy to work with, kind, efficient, eager to be helpful on the most stressful day of my life, and worked with me on special requests. I have to admit I was not at my best pre-ceremony. When Evelyn arrived I was running around like a wildly unorganized mad woman (which I am), desperately trying to put finishing touches on the reception site. The relaxed calm demeanor of her entire crew was infectious and just screamed, “We got this!” And got this, they did. I got tons of compliments from our guests on the drinks and the overall delightfulness of the Hops and Vine staff. Our guests were also completely enamored with the adorable signature cocktails sign Evelyn took care of for me. I cannot recommend Hops and Vine enough. Do yourself a favor, get this worry/task/etc. off your plate. Hire Hops and Vine and breathe a big sigh of relaxed relief!”

“I chose Hailey from the moment we had our initial call to talk through her services. She listened so well to our wedding vision & asked thoughtful questions. We were forgoing a wedding coordinator & other “extras.” Hailey was still excited to take us on as clients which some photographers would not have. I was ready to confirm during the call with how supportive and excited she sounded about our day. From this call, she sent over her proposal for cost & information very quickly. She was responsive via text & email to any questions we had. Closer to the date, she sent over a questionnaire so she could be prepared with the photos we wanted. It also included tips & guidance on making sure the experience is smooth. This was super helpful. During the wedding, I was blown away by her and her second shooter. She was decisive when we needed someone to make a decision, supportive to me as a bride, went above and beyond to handle any last minute changes or hiccups with grace. My husband and I had never had professional photos taken. She made it sooo easy and fun! The photos are sooo creative and I continue to pinch myself that they are ours! Wow! Here’s where she deserves to be shouted from the rooftops: We scheduled a hike we wanted photographed to a waterfall on site at the venue (our venue at Hawkesdene in NC lodges all guests for 2 nights). The venue shared it was 1 mile in/out and not difficult. Well it HAILED the night before and rained all night so the path was flooded and muddy. We had to decide to forge ahead or cancel. She without hesitation was ready to forge ahead, ruining her shoes, to ensure we could still have our hike documented with our guests. She encouraged me along the way and I am so grateful because the photos are just incredible. Anyone would be truly lucky to have Hailey capture their wedding. This review doesn’t do her or her skills justice. I will forever cheer her on & can’t wait to find an opportunity to work with her again in the future.”

“Stephen James Films made the best wedding videos we could have imagined and we are so happy that we have the videos to last for the rest of our lives! We initially did not plan to hire a videographer for our wedding and I'm so happy we changed that mindset! We had conveniently met them at another wedding, just a few months prior while my husband was fascinated by their drone. We instantly connected and started chatting about the what if they came to our wedding. After seeing some of their previous videos, we knew we needed to have them come. Throughout planning, we kept them in the loop and got to know them more as we finalized the plans. Stephen and Rosie travel throughout the country and included a date night video in our package which we got to know them further and spend some fun time outside of wedding talk with them.
