I was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and a recent grad of the University of Iowa. My love for all things food doesn’t have a starting point, it has always been part of my life. I started The Bun Bar in hopes of sharing my love of baking with others. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing happy customers and bringing people together to enjoy a sweet treat!

Chris has played piano at corporate events and private functions in every major venue in the Chicago area. Chris has a vast repertoire that includes American standards, Jazz, Blues, show tunes, Rock, Pop, The Beatles, Sinatra and more.

A creative through and through, I spend my spare time writing, sketching, and snuggling with Andy (my SO, and main 2nd photographer) and our two fur babies, Cali and Hobbes.
