I loved my wedding, it was everything I could've wanted out of the venue. I had My ceremony (outside) & reception (inside) and it was such a wonderful time! I did the family-style menu and all the food was delicious. The reception area in the all seasons room was beautiful with the light globe. The bartenders and servers were very attentive and polite. All of our guests loved the food, the chocolate fountain, and of course the late-night bowling!! The communication with the venue was my main pain point as I was appointed multiple sales managers as it seemed like they were going through a management change. I thought it was odd that I talked with the sales manager for all of my communication regarding the wedding up until the day of I was assigned an event manager who I met 1 hour before my ceremony. The sales manager was still on property the day of but I thought it was weird I didn't receive any information that I would be working with someone else the day of. I highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a beautiful and fun place to get married!!

We had our reception on the first floor and it was so perfect for us. It was so nice that there were multiple rooms to step away from the dance floor and have a private conversation or out on the balcony and view the river and cool off. The food is the best banquet hall food I’ve ever had. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

The entire team was incredible throughout our two-year planning process—fun, professional, and detail-oriented. Every vendor had told us how amazing they are to work with, and they see why as they executed our day flawlessly. The venue is stunning, spacious yet intimate, and our guests haven’t stopped complimenting it. Merc. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception at this location. Connie and Georgia were the absolute best to work with! We had a ton of questions and concerns for our big day and they were there to answer all of them along the way. Not only that, they were very candid and informative. We had an absolute blast working with them. I absolutely recommend having your big day here! The attention to detail was amazing!

The Gardens are absolutely gorgeous in the summer, and my husband and I fell in love with the location immediately after we entered. Aside from the beautiful scenery, the Gardens provide delicious food from Culinary Landscapes, their in-house catering service, and all of our wedding guests were raving about the food and beverages. The catering staff were amazing and very attentive. The only smudge on our experience was that establishing and maintain communication was rocky – especially towards the beginning of our planning process – and there were a few surprise expenses tacked on. All things considered, however, we would go back to CBG in a heartbeat – we had a fairy tale wedding.

Our wedding weekend was everything we could have dreamed of, we have had multiple wedding guests say it was literally the best wedding they have ever attended. Sabrina our planner made the planning experience very efficient and meeting us where we were in the moments and providing every detail we needed. The venue was gorgeous, all the staff was wonderful, the atmosphere getting ready and leading up to the ceremony was everything we wanted, and THE FOOD was so so good. We recommend going with the cake vendor. We loved their selections so much they allowed us to have to cake flavors for our wedding. Everything was such great quality. We recommend a fall wedding if possible here. The grounds of the club are amazing for photos.

Our banquet room comprises of floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around balcony overlooking the golf course with panoramic views of the grounds also, the outdoor pavilion tent accommodates up to 350 guests. 260 acres of beautifully maintained grounds and clubhouse and can accommodate up to 330 guests for golf outings, meeting or banquets (240 guests for wedding receptions). Experience the breathtaking view of our lake, waterfall and fountain. The restaurant at White Pines is a perfect setting for a business meeting or a relaxed dining occasion with friends or co-workers. Call for a tour!

Overall things were good. There were however a few disappointments that we encountered. First, there wasn't any power at the outdoor wedding venue; they had to run extension cords. Second was that people were allowed into the venue but the bar was not open and appetizers were not ready. Third, the room was very warm from the afternoon sun because the thermostat was in the hallway with a fireplace and the doors were closed. That was corrected by opening the doors but only after a long period of time. Fourth, there not enough appetizers. We as the wedding couple only got 1 of each selection (6 total) between the 2 of us and that was because they brought them to us in the bridal suite. We were told that people were taking them off the server's trays as the servers came out of the kitchen, but it seemed there wasn't enough food or staff because we were told by some guests that they didn't have any appetizers at all. Also, we were told that a guest asked a server for a glass of water, the server told the guest, "It's on the bar". Lastly, we ordered a Caesar Salad but we received an "Essence Salad". The menu's on the guests' plates stated "Essence Salad" but White Pines insisted it was a Caesar Salad...I've never had Caesar Salad with red onion. Aside from what I previously mentioned, the entrees were delicious and we did have a lot of fun. Bernadette was easy to work with and offered a lot of useful suggestions.

We had our wedding reception at the Boone County Museum of History on July 6 and it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made in the entire wedding planning process! I grew up going to the museum and we had guests coming up to us all night telling us it was their first time there and how excited they were to see the museum for the first time and how they wanted to come back and spend more time there, and people saying they wanted to spend all night looking through the exhibits. The gallery space was perfect for our 125 guests and there was plenty of space to set up our buffet table, dessert table, and the bar on top of that. There was even enough room for a dance space near the entryway! The museum staff were absolutely the best throughout planning, answering all of our questions right away and helping us to figure out the layout when the time came. We were able to have plenty of personalized touches throughout our decor and our setup, and the staff even allowed us to set up a personalized scavenger hunt throughout the exhibits to find items we'd chosen based on our relationship. The Boone County Museum of History is 100% the best value for a wedding venue you could find in the area and is an absolutely gorgeous and special venue for any of your events, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Belvidere-Rockford area!

After working some larger events at The Warehouse on North, this place has a bunch of potential! Last event hosted was a fun drag brunch for over 130 people, it went off without a hitch! We are looking forward to seeing the growth of the building and the staff continuing to amaze us every time we walk into the building! Their professionalism and ease to work with and organize everything was incredible!

Our dealings with the team well exceeded our expectations. We absolutely LOVE working with Culinary infusion, and working at Circa on Seventh! The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Meticulously designed, with the most tasteful touches. The chandeliers, brick wall, and Bridal Suite will blow you away. You cannot find an ugly spot in the entire place. Always ultra clean and well taken care of. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, and willing to go out of their way to make sure your day is perfect. It's a cliche, but they really do treat you like family. We have been to quite a few other venues, and no one takes care of their clients as well as the staff at Circa on Seventh. We can’t thank Fishermen's Inn enough for going above and beyond for our wedding. From start to finish, everyone was professional, kind, helpful, and excited right along with us. We looked forward to every meeting, and having Erin at the helm of the event gave me so much comfort. Patti, has done an incredible job of building something beautiful, and we appreciate all of the care she has put into her business - it shows! On our wedding day, from the moment I walked into the space, I felt like royalty. Erin did a great job of running the show, and Tara gets a special award for sprinting back up to the bridal suite when I forgot my bouquet for the ceremony! Everyone commented on how good the food was and made a point to mention how incredible the staff & service was throughout the whole night. Jon is incredible at what he does managing the bar. He helped wrap everything up at the end of the evening, helped coordinate space for our last dance together, helped us pack up, and saw us off at the end of the night. Our only sadness is that we don’t get to do it again! Now we need to try to snag an invite to a Fishermen’s Inn wedding so we can go back for a visit! I would like to highly recommend the Abbington Distinctive Banquets. We held both our ceremony and reception at this venue and was very pleased! We selected this venue based on its elegance (I absolutely loved the north ball room which features oversized windows allowing beautiful natural lighting, oversized chandeliers, and neutral color tones blending that blended well with our color palette. We also loved the fact that they have an option to host the ceremony in a separate room from the reception which was an absolute must for me, I am very particular and a little hard to deal with at times due to my over attention to detail and wanting every single detail preplanned and perfectly executed. Tara my venue coordinator was very accommodating to my "type A" personality :) She was very patient with me no matter how many times I contacted her, or regardless of how many times I stopped by the venue to run through things or do mock set ups, and was always just a email/ phone call away throughout the entire planning process. Leading up to the wedding one thing that I had not thought about prior to booking this venue is that we wanted a traditional soul food cuisine and the venue does not offer outside catering. Tara went above and beyond to meet my needs by helping us put together a custom menu using items from their various banquet menus. She also allowed us to request extra seasonings and provide details on how to turn their traditional menu Mac and cheese to "southern style baked Mac and cheese to give the food the southern flare we desired. The chef did an amazing job of executing it and the food was delicious and an absolute hit! My family (including the great aunties and grandparents) whom are tuff food critics were very pleased! We had absolutely NO complaints with anything related to the venue on our big day and would like to thank the staff at the Abbington Distinctive Banquets for being top tier! Everything was perfect!!!

Marriott Naperville was a beautiful place to have our wedding. It was especially important for us to have affordable and easy accommodations for my husbands whole pit of town family, and the entire process was so smooth and easy. They were very responsive, helpful, and very very flexible, bending over backwards to help us and get us what we needed. The Woman’s Club of Evanston was the perfect venue for our June wedding! After an extensive venue search, we were so excited to find the Woman’s Club. The venue checked every box we had - close enough to the city for us and our friends and close enough to the suburbs for our family. The venue is also located right between a reasonably-priced parking garage and a lovely Hilton, which accommodated anyone flying or driving into our celebration. Our vendors also raved about the ease of working in that space, from the vendor parking lot to loading areas to elevators. The venue manager, Gretchen, was the best! She is an excellent communicator and answered all our questions promptly, and was on top of all the tasks that needed to be completed. The BYOB policy of the venue also helped us save some money on our beverages. The list of preferred caterers was great and we found someone that was the perfect fit for our fusion wedding. The venue itself is so beautiful. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was just right for us. The first floor is so warm and welcoming, and was perfect for our photos and for the cocktail hour. The second floor ballroom is grand and had such a wow factor. We were able to keep our decorations to a minimum because the venue itself is gorgeous. The space has so much natural light. We used the gardens outside for our first look, which made for some lovely photos. There’s nowhere else I would rather have gotten married!

It's always the dream team when we work with Palmhouse! The space is incredibly beautiful with wood beams, brick walls, and natural light from the skylights and windows filling each room. Not to mention, they have two beautiful bars where they serve super creative signature cocktails tailored to each event. Major bonus points for the farm tables, farm style high tops, and chairs that are included in their venue rental! The team is so thoughtful, easy to work with and professional. We had Ravi do the catering for my daughter's wedding, which was at The Old Post Office in 2022. The tasting we had was fantastic, as a result we ended up offering more varieties of appetizers than originally planned, they were all amazing! The dinner options we chose were over the top! In addition my daughter wanted a dessert that wasn't on Ravi's menu, but he made it happen for her. Fast forward to 2024, my daughter is expecting and I was beginning to plan a baby shower for her. I called Ravi and found out he had become the caterer of choice for The Oak Brook Manor. Ravi bent over backwards to give my daughter the perfect baby shower. The facility is beautiful, and of course the food outstanding! We had 40 people, some of the choices of food we had were the siracha chicken, which everyone loved & my favorite!!! Swedish meatballs, not one was left over. Pulled pork, amazing. Mac & cheese, loved it! Vegetarian pasta salad, a big hit. Our guests went back for 2nds & 3rds and everyone loved it. I would, without a doubt, recommend Ravi. His food choices and quality go above and beyond. The venue itself is perfect. I would use Ravi in a heartbeat and know that he would be providing the best ingredients, service, location, and on-hand help/experience!!!

We had the pleasure of having our wedding here September 2024. When I say our experience with this venue could not have gotten any better. Our wedding coordinator, Katie Volkening, was with us every step of the way and never hesitated to answer all of my questions (and there was a lot lol). She was so helpful and responsive through the entire planning process and went above and beyond what was required of her as well as the rest of the BlackBerry Farm staff. The carousel and train ride were such a bargain and were a hit with our guests and made for great pictures! Our ceremony location by the pond was perfect and so serene. Two recommended vendors we used from BlackBerry Farm were, 11th Hour Bartending and Uncle Bub’s and both were amazing to work with as well. We look forward to visiting again on our one year anniversary and taking a train ride with our first child. Just book this venue, you won’t regret it regret it!!!

I literally could write for an hour or two and still not be able to tell you everything that was so wonderful about working with WSE. They were well organized, available, kind, and definitely make you feel like family. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and photographs very well. We took advantage of the recent upgrades to Alpha and it was a fantastic space; big enough to comfortably accommodate our 150-ish guests, décor, dance floor, buffets, memory table, etc, but still felt intimate. They coordinated well with our outside vendors and I appreciated that we weren’t limited in our vendor selection. They made a lot of things just work without stressing us out at all. The setup for my caterers/servers was excellent and accommodating. The Romeo suite was so much fun for the groomsfolk, but the Juliet suite was an AMAZING amenity. The salon chairs and backlit mirrors were so convenient for my HMUA. The suite was comfortable and roomy despite the zillion people I had coming in and out. The full kitchen (particularly the full size fridge/freezer) was super nice to have. We had our ceremony on the west lawn, which was absolutely beautiful. They also were very enthusiastic and accommodating about letting us get some photos with our dogs and incorporating them into the ceremony. One of the most notable things, though, was how well they handled adapting to my and my guests’ mobility needs. Several of my older family members use walkers and were worried about the walking or the grass and they all felt very accommodated and cared for and were able to enjoy the day. I myself have a disability that affects my ability to walk and stand for very long; this was no problem for them. They shortened the aisle for my ceremony, knew exactly how to create a beautiful ceremony where both we and our wedding party were seated, and they put a lot of mileage on those golf carts getting me and my family where we needed to be safely and comfortably. I cannot recommend White Stone strongly enough and I would have every event there if I could.

Let me start with this, one of my friend’s is a retired wedding/event coordinator and she said she’s never seen a team as good as the MBR team in her 20 years. The atrium is a beautiful ceremony location, the ballroom is classy and perfect for a wedding bash, their vendors are excellent, and they are just a well oiled machine. They take great notes throughout the process and check in with you, their software platform makes it easy and I just can’t say enough good things about the day of. I had someone constantly checking in to see if I needed something to drink or food, etc. We went down the street for pics and a coordinator came with us and made sure we had water when we got back. 100/10 rating. Also, so many photo opps near the venue.
