He has performed across the United States and internationally, earned degrees in both classical and jazz styles, and taught at the secondary and college levels. Justin holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) in Saxophone Performance and a Master of Music (M.M) in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas. As an active musician, he leads The Justin Pierce Jazz Group, which performs regularly in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

We met at a smoothie and film party in college, during which, I (Matt) let out my inner Shakespeare and screamed at Rachel from a balcony. We were married in Texas Hill country amidst close friends. Rachel forgot she needed a bouquet, but a close friend came to the rescue. We made promises to each other and then took time to pray to make promises to God about our marriage. We did without much of the traditional aspects of a wedding: no dancing, no toasts, no exchanged rings, no wedding party…you get the idea…but we did spend 3 hours with their wedding videographers. They never knew the wind was blowing over their back drop and we spent hours making sure it was perfect and still their vision. They did not have to worry about the water being shut off due to someone running over the water main as we rush to fill all of the back of the toilets throughout the night. These are stresses I take care of as the bride and groom swoon over each other on the dance floor enjoying their loved ones. As I spend multiple days preparing the timeline and getting in contact with all of the vendors, my couple gets to enjoy date nights getting to fall in love even more.
