“Look no further! If you’re anything like us, The Gardens will be the only venue you need to tour! It was truly love at first sight when we toured The Gardens. It checked all of our boxes so we had no doubts in our mind. Over the course of the two years we spent planning our wedding, Amanda and The Gardens staff were always easy to reach and happy to answer all questions. We appreciated the "can do" attitude of everyone at The Gardens, and their help with making all of our requests seem like no big deal. From our mobile photobooth inside of a VW Microbus, to our 6-piece jazz band during cocktail hour, to our cigar bar and lawn games - the staff let us utilize what felt like every inch of the property and were happy to make all the arrangements needed to accommodate us. You can tell that the maintenance of The Gardens is a labor of love for Johan and all involved - the restored 1800s Cream City chapel and schoolhouse as well as the garden space bursting with colorful flowers are a testament to the love and effort that goes into keeping this historical property beautiful. We got endless compliments on our venue selection. Our guests could not stop raving about how stunning of a setting it was. The Gardens takes care of both catering and bar, and boy, do they do it well! We got lots of compliments on the food, some even saying it was the best wedding food they ever had! The bar staff (especially Julian!) were accommodating to our ideas for super boujie signature drinks and mocktails, which were happily consumed by our guests. We will forever be singing the praises of this venue and every wonderful person who makes The Gardens what it is. “This place was so good to us through the planning process. We booked about 2 years ahead of our date as the world was coming off all the covid craziness. I had seen them on social media prior to getting engaged and we booked after it being the only venue we toured. It is the perfect back drop to any theme or color palette. Let me tell you, they have it all! I worked closest with Kelsey and then Hanni and they were wonderful. Always available by email every step of the way through planning and sent reminders of when we needed to get together for detail meetings. I loved that I was able to do ceremony, reception, food/beverage, tables/chairs, linens, photobooth and even decor with them. It was so nice to have less outside vendors to coordinate. They throw an amazing tasting party where you get to sample a good portion of the menu items including drinks and meet other couples. The tier packages they have updated make it even easier to get an 'all inclusive' experience. (I also booked my bridal shower at Circa on Seventh and got some freebies for already having my wedding booked with them) Everyone I have run into since our wedding has RAVED about the food that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We did custom cocktails that they special ordered ingredients for. As far as logistics, I was able to drop all my decor off the week of the wedding and did not have to pick up til the Monday after which was a HUGE RELIEF. The bridal suites are absolutely gorgeous and photograph well. There is not a spot for the guys to get ready but the staff had plenty of suggestions and partnerships with other close-by establishments. Also, my wedding was mid July and my dress was quite heavy so it did get hot on the dance floor even with AC. All in all, I would absolutely do it all over again.
