"Sweets by Jazz LLC was born after watching a popular cake baking show and challenging myself to recreate a cake within the likeness of what I had seen. As a self taught cake artist, it took a lot of trial and error to perfect my craft. I’ll be honest and say I did have a few fails when I started. There is no right or wrong way to do things in the world of cake decorating. I’ve seen everyone do different things that work for them and throughout my journey, I’ve adopted my own techniques. Unfaded Brass Band is comprised of 10 members from New Orleans and surrounding areas that have assembled together to incorporate elements of hip-hop, jazz, soul, and pop music and added the brass band framework to it. . The band has members from Mississippi, but most were born and raised in New Orleans. After being displaced by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, members of the band fled to Dallas and planted their roots within the city.
