The team at Moods Catering are the best! I found them at a bridal expo I went to and after the samples they had I was dying to have them for our wedding. I met with Chef Johnna a few weeks after and went over what we were looking for, but we were on a tight budget so I didnt know how everything would go. She was extremely understanding and together we came up with something out of the box, but still budget friendly. We ended up going with a custome build your own action station, a self serve station and a small sweets station since we had a smaller cake. Everything looked and tasted amazing and so many people complimented the food and how much fun it was.

Once Like a Spark Wedding Co.

4.9

  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,845
  • Serves Salem, MO

More than a decade ago, two sisters - knew there had to be a better way to allow talented photographers and videographers to focus on what they do best -- create gorgeous art -- while providing couples with better support in the planning process. Together, they created an all-inclusive, stress-free environment where couples can choose from talented local photographers and videographers and work with a small team of planning experts equipped and eager to make everything a success. With the pressure gone, you can truly enjoy your big day. Relax and rest assured that all the emotional and moments will be documented with unmatched quality.

Alex & Jeremy were the BEST. I cannot believe the number of compliments I received from friends and family who were at the wedding. They were the most professional and interacted with our guests all night long. During the day, we moved through our timeline so smoothly but never felt rushed in my special moments with my husband. We laughed, we cried, we danced- every moment was captured by them and we are so thankful! I was hoping that the weather would cooperate for some golden hour portraits- not only did Jeremy get the most BEAUTIFUL golden hour photos but he grabbed us just as the sun came peaking out of the clouds and got a few photos of us with my veil in the wind. I am OBSESSED with both sets of these portraits. I’ve already recommended OLAS to friends and family who are getting married. They were the best vendor I could have asked for to capture our special day!

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.9

  • Florist
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Salem, MO

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

Awarded Best of Zola
I ordered the silk magnolia bouquet (Shelbie Bridal Bouquet - Hand tied) and opted for the scent to be added. They arrived and already looked perfect with very minimal fluffing/adjustment. I was nervous the scent would be strong or too artificial but it was light and natural. They photographed beautifully and let me have a taste of home with the magnolias all the way across the country. Gorgeous.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Salem, MO

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Florist
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Salem, MO
  • Offer

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the absolute best experience with The Faux Bouquets. The flowers were absolutely stunning for my wedding. The owner, Brittany, was so kind and even called me to make sure my wedding wouldn't be affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, my area was not affected, but I just really felt that was a special kindness that needs to be called out. But again, the quality of the bouquets, micro sprays and greenery was so great and photographed so well! And all at a fraction of the cost of real flowers that would have just been thrown away at the end of the night! The delivery and return process couldn't have been simpler! And I loved my husband and I got to customize and keep my bouquet and his boutonniere during a promotional add-on! Thank you again, Brittany and The Faux Bouquets, for helping make our wedding so beautiful!
