“Sade was an absolute joy to work with. From the very beginning she was very approachable and listened to my vision. Sade is personable and made me and my loved one feel comfortable. Sade did my makeup for my engagement photos and wedding. I was going for a natural glam for myself, bridesmaids, mom and mother in-law, and she delivered. We all looked stunning. The makeup wasn’t just copy and paste, it was customized to flatter each one of us. There were some hiccups along the way, but Sade communicated with me the entire time. It was a little bummer not receiving the baggy with the makeup remover etc. that came with the package. But that does not take away from the high quality of work she produced. I can honestly say I enjoyed my time with Sade and her “assistant”. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“Priscilla is amazing! When searching for a makeup artist for my November wedding a few years ago, I found her and am forever grateful I did! She was professional, kind, and just a joy to be around! She did a beautiful job on my bridal trial make up and an ever better job (not even sure how that’s possible!) on the day of my wedding. She is easy to talk to and made me feel extremely comfortable. I feel like I’m extremely picky when it comes to my make up and she truly blew me away. I would have her do my eye make up every day if I could! My face make up looked flawless and just natural. I never felt like I had too much make up on, as I know sometimes when you have your make up professionally done, that can be the case. My eyes were absolutely beautiful and I felt like a beauty queen. My bridal party also had their makeup done and everyone was very happy with the result. She works timely and efficiently. My make up stayed perfect throughout the entire day, which was impressive as I had it done early around 8:30-9am. “MU8 Bridal was the perfect choice. I used Patrice and her team based on the fact that I had a small bridal party - just my maid of honor and his best man. My maid of honor is a beautiful black woman and I heard stories of POC having a terrible time with makeup artists. MU8 promotes that they do all skin types and their online presence demonstrated this. When I did the pre-booking call, Patrice completely put my mind at ease for my best friend. A month before our trial - I had to have major surgery which required me to be quarantined for 2-3 months after. Patrice was very supportive and worked with me to get our trial rebooked even though it would have been a month and a half before the wedding. She even celebrated with me (much needed transplant). The day of the trial - it felt like a small party; she and her team (Bridget and Madison) were so much fun and asked such detailed questions. They nailed it the first time for both of us and we looked exactly as we had described. The day of the wedding was no different. They also did my mother's hair and mother-in-law's makeup. They were so organized and lively, so much so that we were ahead of schedule. It did rain and it was humid but the hair and makeup on everyone stayed perfectly. Due to some medical reasons, I had a massive bruise on my left arm. Madison was able to cover it completely and it stayed for the entire night!! I had so much fun with MU8 and WILL be using them in the future for any other makeup/hair needs. I have nothing but amazing things to say!”

NRBeauty Co. was by far the most professional team I communicated with. I appreciated the portal Nina managed which included all communications, invoices, and glam guides. My bridal party also appreciated the Google form they submitted in advance of the day to share their inspo & desired looks! Nina also confirmed when the glam team was en route the day of the wedding, which was highly appreciated given how stressful the morning-of can be. To top it all off, they ran on time / ahead of schedule the day of the wedding!”

“I'd first met Heather at a Rhode Island PrideFest, and instantly saw how much talent she had. Every piece she did looked amazing, her precision was immaculate. I went to her several times over the years, and when my now wife and I began planning our wedding, I brought up the idea of having wedding henna done. My wife agreed, and I knew immediately that I needed to contact Heather. We met up with her at a nearby farm where she was holding a henna event, and she sat with us discussing what we would like done for the wedding for probably a half-hour or so. She sketched design ideas out, which we loved, and made a contract right then and there. Our wedding henna was stunning. We received so many compliments on it that night, and repeatedly after as it lasted beautifully for quite some time. We still get comments if someone sees wedding photos.
