I’m so happy that we hired Chris and Matt for our wedding. They were able to play live music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, first dance and parent dances and DJ for the reception. They are both incredibly talented musicians and were able to play all of the songs we requested. We got so many complements from guests about them about their talent, set up and hospitality. It was such a pleasure planning the music aspect of our wedding with Chris. He’s responsive, professional, friendly and flexible. I could not recommend them enough!

They arranged florals on our arbor, for the entrance to the ceremony space, and on our cocktail and reception tables, all of which turned out beautifully! A little wild but still elegant, so many people told us how special the flowers were. They even made a beautiful flower crown for my niece - it made her LIGHT up and looked perfect. And their signature flower cart is so special! We loved the touch of whimsy it brought and adult and kid guests alike loved putting together bouquets that they could take home. Updike Farmstead was a picturesque, breathtaking backdrop for our wedding and we could not have imagined a more beautiful place to say “I do”! The facilities are excellent and the event coordinators are top notch, we were in great hands the entire time. Updike is also conveniently close to downtown Princeton without being in the center of town bustle. Our guests loved spending time in the area overall.

Where do I even begin? We got married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on May 23, 2024, and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire wedding planning process was made easy thanks to everyone at the OldMill Inn and Grain House. They are very responsive, which is crucial when planning a wedding. My grandmother and grandfather had their wedding reception here back in 1957, so I knew I wanted to meet with them to discuss having my wedding there. It was the first and only venue we met with. After going on a tour and discussing the different packages with Lea, I was sold. They take care of your accommodations, catering, bar, cake, tables, chairs, etc. My wedding planning “to-do” list was cut in half! Everyone is so accommodating and they really work with you to make sure your day goes perfectly. So many guests told us how they never experienced wedding food to this level. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better yet, we actually got to eat as the bride and groom. The property itself is gorgeous. John was our Matre d’ and he was the best! He made sure we stayed on time, he ran food from the cocktail hour to me and my husband when we were taking photos, and he coordinated with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Once again I had guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he is. I also had guests reach out after to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our vendors were fantastic but the Old Mill Inn and Grain House really did the bulk of the work to make it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was wonderful to stay in, everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day, everything was perfect and I really have the Old Mill Inn and the Grain House to thank for that. I would recommend the Old Mill Inn and the GrainHouse to anyone planning a wedding. It really is the ONLY choice in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.

Finding The Valley at Neshanic and booking it for our NJ December 2023 wedding truly felt like finding a hidden treasure or a diamond in the rough! They don’t have too much information online or on social media but don’t let that scare you away! This is a beautiful venue that I don’t feel gets the credit it deserves! We were well taken care of every step in the process, from booking, logistics, today of! The food was incredible and still something my guests rave about. We had about 120 guests and it was a perfect size! Book your wedding here before the popularity gets too known!!! The Peacock Inn was the perfect charming venue for our post-wedding brunch. Julie was friendly and professional to coordinate with, responding to emails quickly to help plan the details. We booked out their cozy restaurant space for the morning after our wedding, and it was the perfect, warm setting for guests to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. The beautiful flowers out front and inviting interior matched the excellent food and service. Guests raved about what a nice time they had and in particular loved the french toast we ordered. We enthusiastically recommend The Peacock Inn for hosting a post-wedding brunch!

I know you might hear a lot of photographers say this... but I’ve truly always loved taking photos! Taking a great photo has always brought me joy from a young age. When I was a little girl, I’d hog my grandmother’s polaroid camera at parties, my mom’s film camera on vacations and throughout high school, I weekly went through disposable cameras and I loved capturing all the moments in life.

I can’t even begin to say enough great things about Tina and her team. The whole process from having our initial phone consultations to the big day was seamless! She was always available to answer any questions we had and made sure to include everything we asked for in the proposal. On the wedding day, her and her team arrived early, and throughout the day made sure everything went smoothly. She had a calm presence (which I appreciated as the bride) while still making sure to keep things moving and ensured we stuck to our schedule. She even reminded us about specific moments we talked about capturing and made sure we found the time to fit them into the day. The pictures came out absolutely beautiful!! She did a great job of not only getting posed shots but really capturing the love in the room and happiness of the day. When I look at her photos, they instantly bring me back to the day and all the emotions. If you work with Tina and her team you won’t be sorry!

We loved having our wedding at Prallsville Mills! Their venue is so unique and beautiful, with the exposed beams and brick walls providing wonderful rustic charm. David and Cynthia were extremely professional and attentive, responding to all our questions and requests in a timely and friendly manner. They clearly have a lot of experience hosting weddings and thought of everything when it came to decorating and coordinating our special day. From the sweetheart table decor to the beautiful trellis they set up outside, it was clear they paid attention to all the little details that made our wedding feel personalized and special. The value for the venue was excellent as well - we got so many compliments from guests on the venue's beauty and character. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind venue with warm, efficient staff, Prallsville Mills is a wonderful choice!

Brick Farm Tavern wasn't the first venue we booked; we had a deposit on a vineyard barn in Vermont with promises of local farm-to-table fare & an indoor-outdoor experience. It all fell apart due to scheduling issues, but I can say with certainty that was for the absolute best. Brick Farm Tavern delivered on all the things we had hoped to find in Vermont, and then some. Most importantly, it was all-inclusive; we no longer had to pay per fork, per chair, per napkin for a luxe experience. If you have never been, go there for dinner, and you will see what I mean! We wanted guests to feel like they were being hosted at a high-end house party, and judging by the fact that we couldn't get anyone to leave, even hours after the bar went to cash (and then closed), I know it was a success. On Experience: Bolstered by lovely weather, we had full use of Brick Farm's grounds: patio seating, outdoor games, and later on, the firepit. Most of our guests chose to spend their time outside, but that didn't stop the dance floor from picking up steam! While finding space for a band might be difficult at the Tavern, we supplemented our DJ with two acoustical performers (see Justin Jones music!) that were even able to follow us outside during cocktail hour. They kept pace with the vibe of the evening, transitioning between acoustic guitar and dance music; the cozy size of the dance floor made it always feel full! The firepit outside allowed less rhythmically inclined guests to experience a different vibe, without being stuck staring at the dancers from their tables. Brick Farm even made s'mores kits for guests to enjoy! On Food: We knew the food was going to be good (it always is), but it was spectacular, personalized, and served with care. We chose not to assign seats because there were more guests than seats. No one seemed to mind, and unlike with a bad seating chart, no one complained either! Guests could wander up to food stations when they pleased, be served a meal of their choice (we even had vegan options!), and eat wherever they wished, either inside at the tables or outside on the patio. Plus, the servers were so attentive; they walked around, checking on us and our guests constantly! People often joke they don't get to eat at their own weddings; well I ate! The staff brought me hors d'oeuvres in between photographs, made me a plate from all the stations & set it with a paired wine from their reserve. The highlight of the reception for me was absconding the immaculately set wine cellar for dinner with my closest friends and family. It was so lovely I could cry. On Drink: Speaking of wine, the Tavern did not hold back on our open bar. For many of our friends and family, this was the highlight - the quality of the alcohol served was the same they would serve patrons of their restaurant. My uncle could not stop talking about being served Troon beer, and my bridesmaids loved the Lemon and Bees cocktail. I am underselling this, I think because I am not a drinker, but just trust me that no corners were cut by their bar staff. As an aside, I should mention that they also included a free valet service, so I had some peace of mind as the night came to a close. Brick Farm Tavern made our reception unique by tailoring the experience to us, and our guests as individuals, simultaneously. Everyone enjoyed themselves: introverts, extroverts, old and young - it sounds too good to be true, but I guess you just have to see it to believe it!

Kyle made planning our music selections so easy and stress free. The app was was extremely helpful in designating which songs we'd like played at different points throughout the wedding. Being able to leave notes in different areas really made it a breeze to give him a clear concise vision of what we wanted to accomplish and our personal tastes in music. When we met in person to go over finer details Kyle had notes on everything we put in the app and brought up more questions we hadn't considered yet. He was very professional as well as personable. Once all the planning was said and done, my fiancé (now wife) and I just had to kick back and enjoy our special day. Our guests were all extremely happy with the music and we got several compliments as we talked with each table. We had so much fun and our guests were absolutely thrilled on the dance floor
