“Molly was incredible as a person, a vendor, and a baker. We found Molly's business online and saw the wonderful reviews. We had an initial meeting to talk about price, process, and flavors. We really wanted to bring out the best in the fresh fruits that were to be included with the cakes. After talking with Molly we set up a tasting with a slate of combinations of cakes, frostings, and fruited layers that would help us decide. We drove to pick them up and for a low price, we were given 5 mini-cakes, decorated and ready for us to try at home. This was perfect for us as it allowed us to get our family to join us in the tasting. Once we tasted everything and decided on flavors, it was a breeze to schedule the delivery. We sent Molly our florists info and copies of some of our paper materials to get inspiration for the design. Molly is definitely a pro and on the day of the wedding, got everything set up. The cake looked incredible and tasted even better. She added some flowers from our florist to accent the cake and match our existing floral arrangements. All of our guests loved both layers of the cake: the rich, colorful blueberry cake with a sharp lemony frosting and delicious lemon curd, plus a Yellow Cake with the Raspberry Compote and Vanilla Buttercream. The pricing was very reasonable, considering that it included delivery, and the cake. 100% would recommend Molly to anyone in New England who wants a delicious and beautiful wedding cake.”

“Jen was tasked with vague, random, and constantly changing ideas for the dessert table at our wedding reception. She took the time to get to know Peter and I, and listened to all of our ideas and random thoughts. We made a generic plan, but told her to do what she does best and make it fabulous! Jen did exactly that and more!! Walking into the reception, Peter and I had no idea what to expect for decor and set up, due to our venue being open for regular business hours prior to our wedding. We were completely dependent on others to set everything up. Jen came with all her goodies and absolutely nailed our dessert table! Peter and I were amazed with Jen's work and her dedication to this passion....and everything was so yummy!! Our guests loved it all and walked out with pockets and purses full of goodies. Blue Goose Bakery was another strong vendor that we were so blessed to have supporting us on our special day!!”

“I knew very early in my wedding planning process that we did not want a traditional wedding cake and wanted to have a dessert bar instead. I am so grateful to Melissa at Bear Brook Bakery for giving us that option - once I saw photos of her work and menu on her website, I wanted no one else and I'm ecstatic she was available and worked with us. Melissa's desserts were honestly one of my favorite parts of the day. Like...second to actually getting to marry my husband. I was getting ready as she dropped things off and set up so I didn't get to see them until I walked into the reception and I was absolutely blown away. The cookies, cake shooters, mini pies, etc. that we ordered looked absolutely tantalizing. Everything was delicious but my personal favorite of the treats that night were the vanilla bean tarts topped with fresh fruit. They were perfection. I loved, too, that multiple guests came up to me at the reception to rave about the dessert bar and how delicious everything was. My dad, who had initially been a little put off that I wasn't doing a traditional cake, came up to me after a few minutes at the dessert bar to tell me that the mini blueberry pies were amazing and he wouldn't doubt me again (haha). For me, wedding cakes have never been memorable. Having been to a dozen weddings in my life, I just don't remember any individual cakes tasting great or looking so beautiful that they stuck in my mind. Melissa's dessert bar though? I don't see myself or my guests forgetting that anytime soon. Melissa, you're amazing and if I were planning this wedding again, I wouldn't work with anyone else for desserts.”

We chose 4 flavors and they shipped them right to our house. The popcorn buckets had our cute custom labels which they designed for us and looked PERFECT! We had tons of compliments on the popcorn. We ordered plenty and people were grabbing them to take home at the end of the night. A perfect snack after a few beers. Theu were very fast with the samples and the order too!”
