JIM LOFTUS Pianist/Singer/1-Man-Band/ORGANIST

5.0

  • Solo performer
  • Starts at $300
  • Serves New Kingstown, PA

I am a pro pianist/singer/keyboardist and Church organist performing since 1983 in the Lehigh Valley of PA prominently but also Philadelphia/Philly suburbs/MontCo/Bucks/Chester/Berks; also extensively in NYC/NJ; trips include Syracuse/Albany NY, Alexandria VA, Atlanta GA and Las Vegas for private events. I play wedding ceremonies and receptions/private corporate events/birthdays/anniversaries/house parties on either a provided piano OR as a "one-man-band" on my YAMAHA PSR1500 keyboard. I'm a Church organist as well since the late 1970s if that was a need a client was seeking.

We can’t say enough about Jim Loftus as pianist and entertainer at family events like weddings, rehearsal dinners and big parties at home. Our family loves to gather around the piano and sing our favorites, and Jim knows ALL of them. We have hired him already on numerous occasions and surely will again. If you want a great centerpiece for a fun evening, hire Jim!

The Showmance Band, a jazz ensemble with a penchant for covering a wide variety of music from the 1920s and Gatsby-themed tunes, recently graced the stage at a wedding event held at the Legacy Castle in New Jersey. As a vendor at the event, I had the distinct pleasure of witnessing firsthand the immense talent and showmanship of this exceptional band. It was clear from the outset that the Showmance Band had the crowd at their fingertips, as women were grabbing their husbands to dance and people were soaked in sweat from the sheer joy of dancing to the group's infectious rhythms. With their world-class musicianship, impeccable attire, and undeniable physical attractiveness, the players exuded an effortless cool that left the audience enraptured. What impressed me most about the Showmance Band, however, was the remarkable cohesion and tightness of their performance. They were clearly a well-oiled machine, each member contributing their unique musical voice to create a seamless, electrifying whole. This level of musicianship can only be achieved through years of dedicated practice and a deep understanding of one another's strengths and weaknesses. At the heart of this incredible ensemble is the band leader JB, whose spectacular performance was truly a sight to behold. With his captivating presence and dynamic energy, he commanded the stage with a confidence and grace that is the hallmark of a true musical master. In my years of attending live performances, I have never encountered a more exceptional and engaging live performer. In short, the Showmance Band is a jazz ensemble that represents the very pinnacle of musical excellence. Their performance at the Legacy Castle in New Jersey was nothing short of awe-inspiring, and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone seeking an unforgettable musical experience.

Mama Juke was absolutely incredible at our wedding! They played for both our ceremony and cocktail hour, and their music truly set the perfect vibe for each part of the day. We had to make some last-minute adjustments due to rain, and they were so flexible and accommodating, handling everything with ease. From the moment we started working with them, they were easy to communicate with and completely professional. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how amazing they sounded, and they really made the whole day feel extra special. We’re so grateful to Mama Juke for making our wedding unforgettable, and we would highly recommend them!
