Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.

I grew up running around after my mom in her gardens and spent most of high school in the art department. I went off to design school and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Soon after, I started my first “real” design job and have been working in the industry in either commercial or residential design ever since, giving me thirty-five years of design experience. A second related career in Floral Design was added to my skill set when I was employed as a part-time floral designer and trained at Longwood Gardens. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. Hey there! My name is Brandi Lester and I'm the owner and photographer of, "Oh Snap Photography" and I'm located in York Pa. After becoming a stay at home mom in 2015 and running an in-home daycare for nearly six years, I decided to start OSP in 2022 with the intent of creating a hobby for myself. I have since discovered that it is much more than a hobby, it's a passion. I love meeting new people and providing them with photos that they can love and enjoy for a lifetime, just as I've loved capturing them.
