I love capturing your love story within the frame of my camera. I am a highly technical shooter who's learned from the likes of David Suh, and Corbin Gurkin; and shhot weddings alongside wonderful photographers as well. While I have a love of documentary style wedding photography, I also shoot creative portraiture where I must utilize lighting and strobe as well as posing techniques.

Much to my delight, as a sophomore in high school, I was mistakenly placed into a senior level photography class. Since then I have never been without a camera. I graduated in 1993, with a BFA in Photography from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Before becoming a full-time photographer, I worked for a decade in journalism in the US and internationally as an Art Director and Creative Director at the Philadelphia Weekly, The Wall Street Journal and WSJ.com. After leaving journalism in 2004, I opened my own studio in Manhattan where I lived for 20 years, met my husband, and had twins before moving to Princeton, NJ in 2014.

For many years, I have had the honor of documenting weddings in New Jersey, working with couples to make sure their love story is captured exactly as it unfolds—organically and beautifully. When I was a little girl, I’d hog my grandmother’s polaroid camera at parties, my mom’s film camera on vacations and throughout high school, I weekly went through disposable cameras and I loved capturing all the moments in life.

Living Mindfully. I still remember every wedding moment I spent with my couples. I know its a momentous occasion to them. That's why I see it also through their eyes. I photographed my first wedding back in 2004. It was a multi-religion Indonesian Wedding in Washington, DC. In the morning the couple had their Catholic ceremony and a quaint reception at the Indonesian Diplomatic residence.
