The historic Featherbone Factory was established by E.K. Warren in 1883. An ardent prohibitionist, Warren revolutionized the manufacturing of ladies’ corsets and buggy whips. Just 5 miles from I-94, Journeyman is located in the quaint village of Three Oaks—the heart of Michigan’s Harbor Country. The Chapel at The Morris Estate (formerly Morris Farms) has been providing a breathtaking backdrop for weddings since 1938. E.M. Morris built The Chapel as the Centre Meeting House on his 1,000 acre farm in Niles, Michigan. It began as the setting for his daughter's wedding and has since hosted important events for both the Morris family and community. Although there have been renovations to add modern conveniences, the property's quaint atmosphere and rich heritage will continue to be maintained. The area surrounding The Chapel provides a lovely and convenient location for a reception after the ceremony. Lodging is also available on this historic property with 9 luxurious suites as well as 2 private cabins for a honeymoon getaway.

Constructed in 1871 by Bavarian immigrant Philip H. Zorn Jr., Barrelhouse The Venue resides on the historic Zorn campus. As an annex to the brewery, Barrelhouse The Venue would manufacture beer barrels to house fresh beer prior to distribution around Northwest Indiana. Though unoccupied now, the original ice-house, brew-house, and malting building still stand across the street, a reminder of the dream Philip Zorn brought with him to America.

Friendship Botanic Gardens offers a stunning and unique setting for outdoor weddings and special events, nestled within over 100 acres of woods and beautifully landscaped gardens. Available from May 1st through October 31st, the Gardens provide a picturesque backdrop for ceremonies and receptions ranging from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations of up to 300 guests, with options for custom designs to accommodate even larger events. Every wedding includes ceremony chairs, a three-hour venue rental, a one-hour rehearsal, use of the Wedding Cabin, golf cart assistance, and the dedicated assistance of our Wedding Coordinator.
