Let's start with who we are......an emergency room doctor and a nurse, with their daughter and son team; then add in a couple of retired/current school district employees who met in the restaurant business. River Vista is something that we built together and we take great pride in the opportunity to work together as a family to serve you. Over ten years ago, we began the transformation of a one-story bar/tavern into the unique venue it is today. Each design element and architectural feature come together to create the perfect balance of elegance and functionality, with a sophisticated yet rustic feel. Our facility features high ceilings, exposed cedar woodwork, crystal chandeliers, and massive deck overlooking the river. Our main reception area is complimented by our state-of-the-art conference center, which is an ideal setting for corporate training and professional development.

The Kester Homestead is a historic farm venue located on the cusp of Finger Lakes Region in Upstate NY. Enjoy access to the entire property for the duration of your gathering weekend. Stay in the 1854 House with your family and bridal party, wander the trails to our Woodland Cathedral for ceremony, head to our Wild Garden for cocktails then dine and dance in our Gambrel Barn. The Meadow is a four-season venue on Seneca Lake. Home to Vineyard View Winery’s Seneca Lake tasting room, our 100-person event space can be expanded during the warmer seasons to host up to 170 people in an indoor-outdoor experience. Located on the shores of Seneca Lake, our space offers sweeping lake views, stunning fields of flowers, and optional experiences to spend time with the Sweet Farm Rescued Animal Ambassadors.

We are hoping to create a memorable experience in our extraordinary setting. We are located at the beautiful historic old Sinclair Chair Factory built in 1871 on Skaneateles Creek. With gorgeous views and attention to historic detail, our goal is to produce a unique setting to create memories of a lifetime. Guests have all day access, will be the only event occurring in our facility that day, and have 100% of our attention! We are only 1.9 miles from the center of Skaneateles village. The village offers a multitude of attractions with many great eateries, bars, clothing stores, antique shops and more. Also, the lake provides a great opportunity for fun activities with friends and family.

There is no place more beautiful than the Finger Lakes, and we are excited to bring a destination to the community where people can come together to enjoy each other, laugh and sip delicious artisan spirits. The venue also offers a tasting room with seating for 84 inside, a wall of full glass accordion doors that open to an outdoor balcony that seats 60, all with spectacular scenic lake views, and is well appointed with a full bar, whiskey barrel sinks in the restrooms, a viewing window of the still, and an aged tin ceiling that sets the space apart from others. The new 4992-square foot Finger Lakes venue features a state-of-the-art distilling room that is highlighted by a custom-built, 500-gallon copper, two-stage hybrid pot still/ reflux column still from HBS Copper, the commercial division of Hillbilly Stills in Tennessee.
