“Chef P makes amazing food. We had 140 people and some 50 steak orders and only heard good things! I've been to weddings where things get overcooked due to having so many orders but that didn't happen with Chef P! Her team is wonderful and so nice. They also made our deserts and I was surprised that almost all of them were eaten! She also boxed us up an extra meal and deserts so we could enjoy them after since wedding day can be too crazy sometimes to remember to eat.”

As I reflect on my wedding day, absolutely nothing went wrong. And if something actually did go wrong, I literally have no idea because Katie managed everything so that my husband and I could fully enjoy our day without stress!! Our vision did not follow the typical wedding timeline but Katie ensured that everything progressed seamlessly and just how we envisioned. He offered to have phone calls and in person meetings to walk through our vision of our wedding reception, made detailed lists and notes on key aspects of our reception as well as took time to get to learn our family member's names. “If I could give The Downtown Band more than 5 stars I would. They performed at our wedding last month and they were INCREDIBLE. Truly the highlight of our reception. Our guests were blown away, they said they felt like they were at a concert! They all sounded amazing and they kept the guests engaged the entire time. Their professionalism and talent is off the charts. My now husband is a drummer and they let him play a few songs with them. It was a HUGE hit and made our day even more special. Their manager was so kind and quick to respond when we were working through the planning process as well. If you want a good band for your wedding or event- your search ends here. “My husband and I loved working with Meritage Entertainment, and James and Greg in particular, for our wedding! The whole experience was very positive — when we first submitted our inquiry, James (Meritage founder) was very responsive, and we had a long conversation about our expectations and hopes re: a DJ for our wedding, our music tastes, the type of party we wanted to have, and more. James was attentive and thoughtful, and recommended two different DJs on staff that he thought might be a good fit for us. After checking out profiles (Meritage's website is really detailed and has lots of good content!), we decided Greg felt like the right fit, and I think we were right! Greg brought such positive and joyful energy to our day, and he was just as thoughtful and attentive as James. One thing really stood out to me — in a call with Greg before the wedding, I mentioned that a lot of our favorite music wasn't really good for dancing, or party music (think Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor, that sort of thing), but we would love to hear some of it somehow on our day. Greg knew just what to do and had a flawless lineup of songs we love playing during dinner! And after dinner, Greg had our friends and family on the dance floor for hours and hours. We definitely recommend working with Meritage!”
