After decades of rest, the great hall of Sts. Peter & Paul has been lovingly restored with carfeul attention. Built in 1861, every pane of stained glass is infused with history and every brick with stores of days past. The reverberant and resonant hall is located squarely in the Faubourg Marigny, the city's eclectic hub for art, cuisine, and entertainment and only a short walk (or second line) from Frenchmen Street and the French Quarter. The church has served as a haven and gathering place for over a century and a half, and now, we open her doors to you and yours. Access to the space for a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception includes a 4.5 hour event. We also welcome ceremony-only and reception-only events. The NOCCA Foundation is the nonprofit that supports the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, which is Louisiana's arts conservatory for high school students. Our venues are located in one of New Orleans' oldest neighborhoods, the Faubourg Marigny, just upriver from the Bywater. Our buildings date from the early 1800s and have been beautifully restored with modern amenities. Funds from rentals help support a range of programs for students, faculty, and the community, including an Artists-in-Residence program that brings up to 100 visiting artists into NOCCA's classrooms each year; professional development funds for NOCCA faculty; and a series of concerts, gallery exhibitions, readings, and classes for the community.
