I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. I started my career in beauty going to cosmetology school directly after high school. For me it was a quick way to hit the job market as a young single mother. If you asked me back then I would have said "beauty school is just a way to pay for college". After graduating BS and working in a salon I started college soon to realize that beauty was my absolute calling. I was scouted by a photographer and started shooting every week. I then made my way into NYMBFW. After that, two years in I booked my first celeb client. There really was no looking back after that, I fell in love!
