I derailed my 4-year college plan to work in a restaurant and then attend pastry school - which is how I landed in Rhode Island. I needed a field that was both regimented and creative and pastry delivered! I’ve baked in Providence for over 6 years, and I couldn’t imagine ever leaving the incredible network of small food businesses that I’ve been welcomed into. Every cake and frosting is made by me, from scratch - no fondant in my kitchen! My favorite designs are those that capture the personalities and passions of my incredible clients.

Behind The Scene Girls was founded by Morgan Boss and Destiny DeMent in the beginning of the 2016 wedding season. We had a grand opening date of March 1st and took on our very first wedding as a team on March 27th. With the intention to only serve Eastern CT & Rhode Island, our first wedding inquiry was for White Plains, New York, thus opening my mind to the idea of an even wider travel radius. We began servicing Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York & Northern New Jersey. And later to Southern New Hampshire & Vermont. Two & three hour car trips each way that seemed to drag became the highlight of the week.

I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day.
