Akua and her team were a dream, I can't recommend them highly enough! From the moment we first talked, Akua made herself so available and went above and beyond - I was looking for a day-of wedding coordinator, and Akua was actively involved for MONTHS beforehand. Akua was always extremely knowledgeable and struck the perfect balance between giving me all the advice and help I needed while also centring what I wanted. We had our wedding spread out over two days, and I'm sure a ton of things went wrong, but as the bride, I had no idea at all because Akua and her team had such a great handle on things. I'm type-A and feel comfortable only when I'm in control, and Akua made me feel like I could just float through my ceremony and reception without thinking about a single thing other than having a great time with my partner and our guests. She was also just a joy to be around, best vibes! Honestly, best decision we made all wedding was working with Akua!

I truly cannot imagine how this day would have gone without Maggie’s help. She and her assistant Claire made everything truly seamless. A few weeks before the wedding she told me she could start handling communication with my vendors and since I have a full time job, that was an extra helpful and I hadn’t thought that about when first hiring her. But aside from the work she did leading up to the day, she executed the event so well. The wedding party and my family even made comments to me about how lovely she was to work with. I had grand plans of organizing everything perfectly for her and even though I didn’t get quite as granular as I had hoped, she put it all together perfectly. So much happened behind the scenes that I didn’t even think about until weeks following because even though I initially planned it, she took the reigns and all I had to do was enjoy the night. Her calm and collected demeanor is exactly what every bride needs for their coordinator/planner. She didn’t even flinch when I decided the week before the wedding to add on a “grand exit” that wasn’t originally in the plan- haha. Trying to figure out where to spend money while wedding planning is tough but the money I spent on Maggie’s services was worth every penny. 10/10 would recommend!

Jennifer even gave an extra pair of helping hands at my daughter's bridal shower. Indeed, it was extraordinary full-service experience. It was important to my daughter that the wedding be rustic, glamorous, romantic, and start on-time. We had to have frequent and clear communications between the bride and groom, each family, and us as the hosts for the wedding. I loved the timetable Jennifer prepared leading up to the wedding so that details were clear, and all wedding participants would know 'what, where and when' everything had to be done. The wedding rehearsal had its challenges, but that's why you have rehearsals! LOL Jennifer lived up to her promises to me and my daughter -- the wedding started on time and we did not have to scurry about with last minute details. My daughter's vision for a fairy tale wedding came true. Our friends and family commented how the ceremony was beautiful, the reception was fun and both were well executed! The video and live stream was so clear and captured the surroundings as if all our family and friends were right there with us. The wedding officiant calmed our nerves and the ceremony was top-notched. She made it so intimate and special. I don’t like to set my expectations too high, but I could never imagine that they would deliver better than we could even imagine.

I don’t even know where to begin to thank Cylee for the amazing job she did at our wedding. I originally had another planner that made me dread planning my wedding. 3 weeks prior to the wedding I decided to drop the old planner and go with Cylee, who was introduced to me by my photographer Arleigh. The day of the rehearsal, she came with copies of the timeline for all of us. She went through every detail and walked us through the game plan of the day. Later that night she checked in with me to see how we were doing. Even just the small sincere gesture of a simple text with words of encouragement, was more than enough to ease our minds for the big day. I have no words to describe just how magical and perfect the day of the wedding was. Cylee came bright and early to help with decor, vendors, a stressed out bride and stressed out parents. She was always coming in to check up on me, while still coordinating everything else. She was literally with us every step of the way. Our venue required a room flip, and she handled it with such speed and perfection. When we were introduced and walked in to the dinner area for the first time, I could not believe how beautiful she had arranged everything. I had no plan for the sweetheart table, but she arranged it so beautifully I felt like I was in a fairytale. My husband is not much of the dreamer type, but even he said that, he finally understood what it felt like to describe something as magical and dreamy. Cylee did such an amazing job that I had many guest come up to me to say how wonderful she was. Everyone loved her! And We loved her! Cylee is so kind, sincere, organized, passionate, caring and overall just an amazing person to have in your life. Her planning services were worth every penny. Because of her, our wedding came out better than we had ever imagined, and we created memories of a lifetime. She exceeded every expectation and honestly you will not regret hiring Cylee.

I also requested to ensure the timeline was on time because I’ve been to weddings that the guests are sitting there and nothing was happening and I did not want to waste any time at the wedding reception. She did great with the rest of my vendors, timeline and organization as well. She was honest, direct and knowledgeable about the Wedding industry. She did everything I requested and more! The venue kept asking me to add on things which cost more and she told me directly that it is a waste of money, which I love because I am a budget bride. I love that she is honest with her clients and recommends what looks the best and cost effective. I feel that she is very approachable like a friend but at the same time she keeps her professionalism. She made our dream wedding into reality! About wedding planners

How much does a wedding planner cost?

On average, a full-service wedding planner can cost between $3,000 and $10,000. It depends on where you live and where you’re getting married. Planners in areas with high costs of living, like New York City and San Francisco, may charge upwards of $20,000. If you’re having a destination wedding, consider using a planner local to the area—you’ll avoid paying extra for travel, accommodations, and meals. Day-of coordinators cost less. What do wedding planners do?

Think of wedding planners as jack-of-all-trades experts when it comes to weddings. Many offer different levels of service to meet your needs. If you just want day-of coordination, for example, your planner will be there to make sure your ceremony and reception go off without a hitch. This may mean setting up vendors or directing your wedding party and guests to make sure everyone is where they need to be at the right time. On the other end of the spectrum, full-service planning may involve:

Planners are great resources and can make planning your wedding much less stressful. If you’ve got the budget, a wedding planner is well worth the investment. Planners offer different service levels at varying price points. Choose the amount of help and cost that makes the most sense for you. At the bare minimum, you need someone (hired or delegated) to help manage the event day-of so you will be able to enjoy yourselves without worrying about too many logistics. If you decide to enlist a friend or family member to take on this role, keep in mind that this person will need to prioritize your needs over their own, and will no longer be attending or enjoying the wedding simply as a guest.
