A Bupp Event was built after a huge move to the south and a new baby in tow. After 7 months of an extended maternity leave from events and the DC market I found I really missed events! The creative designs, the logistical details, the 'friendor' relationships. I missed it all. I decided to dive back into events, most specifically weddings, giving me the opportunity to connect with all these beautiful couples and a whole new set of vendors.

We simply could not have had a better wedding and Ashley was a huge part of everything going smoothly. From making sure no small details were missed (like who's cutting the cake and tweaking our timeline to give us more party time), vendors arrived on time, had everything they needed a week before, and even breakdown (making sure everything was in the right box because we rented flowers). She even made sure we had a plate of food waiting for us after our first dance (as you know most newly weds rarely get to eat the day of but she made sure we did). Everyone she ran into had nothing but kind things to say about her and how amazing she did with handling our wedding as she organized our day and made sure we didn’t have to think about timelines, where people were, when to start cleanup, and who needed what box. She went above and beyond for our day and I cannot sing her praises enough. She's such a kind soul and extremely professional - thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Ashley!

Months, and sometimes years, of hard work are put into building a celebration – hopefully with lots of champagne toasts and happy tears along the way!

Hiring Ohana and working with Sonya was easily the best decision we made while wedding planning. I was hesitant to hire an outside coordinator because we had a venue coordinator, but the venue coordinator does not do nearly the amount that Ohana does. Hiring Ohana is a NEED. I was first introduced to Danielle and we instantly connected. I felt she understood my vision and wanted to help create our dream wedding. We were lucky enough to be assigned to Sonya for the 90-day coordination package and she was the kindest, most patient, and organized planner. She responded quickly to emails and answered all of my questions, she took over communication with vendors and relieved much of the planning stress, she provided detailed checklists and kept me on track. She also created a detailed by the minute itinerary for the entire weekend for us, our vendors, and a shorthand version for our bridal party which was extremely helpful. Our wedding day was seamless with no hiccups and I can honestly thank Sonya for that. She made sure to keep the day moving on schedule, communicated with all of the vendors, and made sure to check in with me often. Even wedding guests and our parents gave raving reviews for Sonya. My husband and I agree that hiring Ohana and being able to work with Sonya was the best investment we would do all over again, and we recommend them to everyone. I wish I had hired Sonya sooner! Best wedding coordinator of all time. It is true, Ohana means family, and that is exactly how the team treats you.

Steph was absolutely PHENOMENAL coordinating our day! She managed the daunting task of keep my husband and I, plus our crazy families, and just made our day absolutely perfect! We loved her up-beat personality and can-do attitude! We found her around 30 days before the day of, and she reassured me (I might of had a slight breakdown) that is was normal and completely fine. We had an unfortunate bump in the road when the venue let go of the manager we were working with, but Steph took charge and contacted our other vendors to ensure the day went off without a hitch, and she delivered! She set up our decorations, including our beautiful chuppah (pic included) and it was everything we imagined. It was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't be happier!

We came to her with A LOT of ideas that went outside of the normal routine for a wedding, and she accommodated every whim while also making every detail more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Shanna and Ashley are true masters of their work. My fiance and I originally were looking for a day-of coordinator but these two went above and beyond. Through the planning process I felt as though I had someone to help me with each step of the way. When I couldn't find a caterer, they reached out to people they personally knew. When I realized I didn't have many decorations, they had some to rent me. When I didn't order enough cups (read those descriptions thoroughly people!), they quickly went out to get more. For the day-of, I had no idea of any issues; nor were they going to tell me until after the wedding. From our first phone meeting to the send-off Shanna and Ashley truly made our day perfect.
