While planning my wedding in 2020, I struggled to find an affordable, budget-friendly bar option. I was eventually able to book a couple bartenders, but it got me thinking. After researching and figuring out all of the moving parts, Happiest Hour was born. The second my husband and I landed back in Texas from our honeymoon, we quite literally hit the ground running. I previously bartended at a wedding venue occasionally throughout college and my husband has taught me how to use every power tool in the book. It all came together and it has been an absolute dream come true!

The band has members from Mississippi, but most were born and raised in New Orleans. After being displaced by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, members of the band fled to Dallas and planted their roots within the city. I'm Kristen, a creative media producer from Oklahoma City. I specialize in video production and motion graphics but dip my toes in the photography pool from time to time. Over the past few years, I've discovered my love for video production has its roots in my passion for telling the stories of people and events going on around me. I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day. It was then that I fell in love with the concept of love and knew what I wanted to do. I went on to film photography in high school and digital photography in college. After college I started a job as a party coordinator. I did this for years. Then, on blind faith started my own journey into the world of photography and wedding planning!
