“It was such a pleasure working with Debbie and her team at Windows. They did an amazing job catering our wedding of about 110 people. From the very beginning of the process Debbie was thoughtful, professional, and brought so much attention to detail in our planning. The tasting was fun and allowed us an opportunity to pick and choose what would work best for day of. I also appreciated Debbie’s input when it came to the menu. We had several guests with food allergies and dietary restrictions and windows were able to accommodate all of them. Knowing we not be working with a florist, Windows provided our center pieces. Beautiful white flowers and greenery surrounding three candle holders of different heights. A beautiful touch that helped bring the space together. When it came to day of planning, Debbie was able to help with managing a smooth timeline and ensure all the food was prepared and ready tasting its absolute best. We’ve received tons of compliments on how delicious the food was from our guests. The short rib melted in your mouth and the Halibut was cooked to perfection and served to guests quickly not compromising its quality. For our vegan friends they noted the cauliflower steak was one of the best dishes they’ve had at a wedding. All in all we cannot recommend Windows enough! There are usually two ways people remember wedding food and we feel so lucky that guests walked away full and raving about how good ours was!”

Danielle was an integral part of our planning process - happily scheduling calls as needed to help us develop our timeline, narrow down locations for photos, and even providing us with a detailed timeline and checklists of things to bring for photos. She had absolutely everything covered to the point that I actually felt a bit guilty about how little I did because, hello, that's my personality. As for Tyra's personality--well, she's the best. Super duper friendly, professional and like a good BFF, not afraid to give it to you straight. Highly, highly recommend. P.S.--This was a second wedding for my hubby and I, and it was a very small group. If you figure you don't need a planner because your wedding is going to be intimate, you're wrong. Trust me when I tell you that you still need someone to coordinate with the vendors, make sure the ceremony musicians aren't dead, talk you through a tuxedo crisis, and literally sprint to jump into your officiant's car, who is lost and driving around the mall looking for the venue. ;)”

Amanda provided invaluable insight on our wedding day timeline and kindly circulated that to our full vendor team. During our venue walkthrough, she brought up so many details I hadn't even thought about, and made expert suggestions on how to address those details. I had a lot of decorative elements that were important to me, and Amanda executed that vision flawlessly. Amanda even has a collection of items available to borrow which came in great handy (easels, candles, cake stands, etc). We experienced some super last minute guest cancellations - I hesitated to text Amanda at midnight on the eve of our wedding, but she replied and addressed those changes expertly. “It's hard to do anything but rave aboutUche and her team - Uche is incredibly creative, a consumate professional, and moreover just an all around awesome human being to work with. From the beginning, she was super responsive and took the time to help me figure out the look for my wedding (I wasn't starting from much - just knew I wanted a "secret garden" type feel). In our first conversation alone I knew she had a vision, and told her to go with it. The execution was so far above and beyond our expectations that words can't describe it. I loved and really appreciated the thoughtful proposal Uche put together (and changed several times at my annoying requests), but I really couldn't have imagined how beautiful everything would be the day of. We got married at District Winery, and Uche and her team took FULL advantage of the blank canvas-esque space, complete with hanging greenery installations and the most beautiful altar piece I've ever seen. My bouquet was also gorgeous - as were my bridesmaids', and the boutonnieres were amazing. I honestly had friends coming up to me telling me they loved the florals even more than what they had at their own weddings! Not only was the end result day-of perfect, but I know that Uche and her team worked tirelessly to get it done. When we had our rehearsal at the venue the afternoon before, they were there getting a head start (what other wedding vendor would do that!?) I could go on forever about how incredible Uche is (like the fact that she hosted my mom and I at her studio for over an hour to patiently talk through details, even as she was prepping for a big wedding the next day), but the bottom line is that if you want top notch creativity and professionalism all in one, you can't go wrong with Designs by Oochay.
