As a young child, like many children, I picked dandelion and other "weed" bouquets for my mom. Making wishes and blowing the dandelion seeds was also a favorite pastime. I drew flowers all over everything, and since I was a kid with little talent in drawing, I became quite proud of my flowers.

Poppin' Peonies began to bud in 2020 & it has flourished in the last few years. I'm Bre, I am a solo-traveling florist and LOVE any adventure when it comes to a new area. Born and Raised with family in the greenhouse & flower shop trade, I started my company when I was 25 after working in New York City doing large events and installs. Loving my rural roots and the ability to grow, I settled down in central Ohio on a 17 acre farm where I grow many unique specimen of floral & fruit.

Leta Verbena is a boutique floral studio based in Redondo Beach and is owned and managed by Emma L. Seitz. She started her wedding career as a wedding planner back in 2014, and her experiences gives her a different perspective for floral design, as she deeply understands the logistics, details and flow needed for a successful wedding day. Florals were added to the business in 2018, becoming the sole focus in 2020. Emma loves how florals have pushed her creativity to new limits, and enjoys how every wedding is a unique and exciting challenge.

I'm a proud first-gen., Latina & Dallas native who finds joy in every facet of flowers. Growing up, my dad filled my childhood with gardening & my love for flowers sprouted there. In high school, I enrolled in Skyline's High School's floral design program in which my classmates & I learned floral designs basics + the business side of the flower industry. There, I would frequently compete against other high schools & received my Level 1 & 2 certifications by the TSFA. I founded La Fuente de Flores in 2019 & have rebranded as Monarch & Marigold Studio. I'm also a hobby flower grower so quite literally, I'm always surrounded by flowers.

My passion for gardening and flowers began when I was just a little girl planting strawberry plants. Over the years I grew more passionate about flowers and it naturally developed into designing flowers. When I’m not playing with flowers or gardening, I am walking my dog, laying out in the sun, or enjoying a glass of wine with my loved ones. Fire Poppy accepts everyone, and I strive to create a safe space. I believe it’s important to create a strong relationship with all of my clients to truly understand your goals for your special day. I always say we will continue to coordinate until our vision becomes one.

I later began learning wedding and event flower designing by working for another florist. I worked for them for many years until they decided to quit. Hi, I’m Kristin Nicole! I fell in love with flowers 8 years ago when I started planning and coordinating weddings. I used to LOVE seeing all the amazing creations and installations that florists would bring in on the day of, and I always dreamed of adding floral design to the list of services I am able to offer my clients. In 2023 I had the opportunity to further my education in the industry and become a FDI Certified Floral Designer. Weddings are my passion. I used to watch reruns after reruns of TLC’s A Wedding Story when I was young and even created little ceremonies and receptions I thought best fit the personalities of my younger siblings. I’ve always been passionate about gardening but didn’t really think of floristry until after I landed my first job in the wedding industry. I decided to go for it and pursued floral design school. I couldn’t be happier that I did! I get to start my day with some of the most gorgeous scents and scenery. I love what I do and I think you will, too!

I started working with wood flowers in February of 2020. A friend of mine had recently gotten married, and seeing her bouquet in the trash stuck with me. I researched fresh vs silk flowers, fresh are stunning but expensive & have a fast expiration date. Silk flowers didn’t really satisfy the customization and realism that I desired. I stumbled across wood flowers, purchased a few & quickly realized that not only was I actually a little talented at what I was doing, but I absolutely LOVED doing it. I fell in love almost immediately. I want to express my love & passion for these wood flowers & I want brides to fall in love the same way I did.
