Our friendship started about 10 years ago when we bonded over nail polish, eyeshadow and a fierce winged liner. Oh and the fact that we shared the same name. Fast forward a few years later, we both discovered we were trying to learn how to use the exact same camera. We decided to meet on our days off and learn how to use those cameras. We had so much fun taking photos together, we decided to start our own business. We put our names together, Melissa and Melissa, and came up with M Squared Photography.

They never knew the wind was blowing over their back drop and we spent hours making sure it was perfect and still their vision. As I spend multiple days preparing the timeline and getting in contact with all of the vendors, my couple gets to enjoy date nights getting to fall in love even more.

The horse-apple bearing bodark (bois d'arc ) tree seemed an apt symbol for these transplants from the farm to the city. Henna is a plant based paste that dyes the skin to a brownish maroon shade and lasts between 1-2 weeks depending on care.
