Birchtown is a full service event venue providing the most unique and detailed experiences in and around Forest City, Pennsylvania. Available year-round in our climate controlled indoor space. We provide full venue staff. Fully licensed onsite restaurant and catering services. In addition to setting up and cleaning the venue. We coordinate your guests, vendors, and bridal party. The bar is fully prepped with all needs, menu displays - and more! We work with the couples to build the wedding they’ve envisioned. We have a large variety of decorations that couples can choose from, or supply their own. From signs, centerpieces, floral swag, etc. in all different colors and designs, we help to keep the additional decor cost low or even at no cost to our couples. We have on a on-site accommodation for our couples. Large bridal suite and a groomsmen lounge. All of our events are a full service package! Takach's Grove first opened it's doors in 1970 by Andy and Marguerite Takach. It was home to countless company picnics, Family Reunions and special events of all kinds. The property went through extensive renovations in 2018, and now focuses primarily on weddings. Our same family still owns, maintains and operates the venue. We are proud to be small and niche - booking only 1 wedding a weekend, and providing many in house items and being as all-inclusive as possible, in order to give our couples a stress free experience. We are onsite and available for the duration of your event - including the day before for the rehearsal and set up and for the duration of your event to keep things running smoothly. We work closely with vendors and our dedicated catering partner to make your special day exactly what you are envisioning.
