Finally, you can dance the night away in their Artisan Ballroom. Expansive windows allow for scenic views of both the wooded grounds and the lake. A wrap-around balcony creates a tranquil site for guests to socialize and admire the sunset. You and your wedding party can utilize the private Bridal Suite and Groom Room as comfortable spaces to prepare before the start of your celebration. In the year of 1762, Mr. Newberry and Mr. Thames purchased the land from Mr. Gray. In the deed, there was mention of a sawmill and grist mill on the place, but no mention of a house. In 1833 Mr. Byrne purchased the land from Mr. Newberry. At this time the house and store were on the land. Later on Mr. Byrne sold the land, and it change hands several times..." The house served as a mill home, store, and the Gray's Creek post office for many years.
