They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. Music was one of our biggest priorities for the wedding day and our expectations were blown away. David was very collaborative, helping us to plan the perfect set list and answering all of our questions leading up to the day. The songs were a great mix of older stuff and newer hits, and somehow, he got everyone dancing—even the people who usually just sit and watch. There weren’t any awkward pauses or weird song choices, and every time I thought, Okay, maybe I'll sit down now, another great song came on, and I stayed on the dance floor. He didn’t talk too much on the mic, but when he did, it added to the energy instead of being annoying. Overall, he just made the whole night feel effortless. I remember reading all of Business Time’s reviews/testimonials back when we first began our wedding planning, and thinking “wow how is it possible for EVERY single review to be so glowing?”. Well now we know! Obviously a 2020 wedding meant a lot of plan changes and stress, but Mark and Business Time had our back from the get go and were ready to support whatever version of a wedding we were able to have. That turned out to be an intimate backyard tent wedding with just us, our immediate family, and the rock ‘n roll band known as Business Time (as Zach likes to say). We were hoping to make the best of things and have as much fun as possible with our family given the circumstances, and BT delivered! Our small group was up on their feet dancing all night. Several faces were melted during lead guitarist Zach’s amazing guitar solos. The band has a masterful ability to read the room and change the set list as needed on the fly, mix genres, and seamlessly transition between songs. They are all extremely talented musicians and we felt so lucky to have them perform for us in our own backyard. They were the best part of the best day of our lives, and I can’t speak highly enough about them”

Not only are all of the members extremely talented, but they played an awesome combination of songs that we love dearly from artists like Phish, Jimi Hendrix & Talking Heads. Once we met John and the rest of the band, we knew their personalities meshed so well with ours and it was the perfect match. They were extremely easy to work with when we planned out our song list and gave us great recommendations. When it came to the actual wedding day we were blown away! Not only did they do an awesome job on the songs we requested, they added some more that they felt would keep the party going. We still get comments on how awesome our band was to this day. “Let me start by saying that we are not the type to write reviews for anybody - good or bad - but for the sake of future individuals/couples looking to book PK and the Mighty Seven we feel obligated to say that if you are looking for a band to entertain whatever party you are hosting you MUST choose PK and the Mighty Seven. To start, Matt was incredibly communicative and responsive during the initial planning stages, promptly responding to e-mails and joining several Zoom calls leading up to our event. We had a vision for our special day and they accommodated each and every one of our requests. On the day of they arrived early and did the necessary prep work to ensure they were fully situated to provide our guests with the night of a lifetime. They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. We had a wide array of guests and the overwhelmingly consistent feedback we received was that the band was AMAZING. No exaggeration - the majority of our guests said they were the best band they'd ever experienced. If you are getting married or have a special event in their area you will be doing yourselves an immense disservice not to hire them to make your evening as spectacular as you want it to be.”

“My wife and I had Lou DJ our upstate wedding and it was more than we could have dreamed of. From the beginning, he was nothing but professional. He met with us multiple times prior to the event to go over music selection, flow of the ceremony day etc. His website was very easy to use and allowed us to have a large role in our music selection for the day, even for the reception dance portion. Everything was reviewed at least 3 times to ensure there were no hiccups, and also to make sure we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the ceremony day. On the day, Lou came in very early to setup and his equipment was extremely unobtrusive and sounded amazing. From the ceremony to reception (and especially cocktail hour), the sound was fantastic and there was not a single hiccup (even with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour!). His flow through the reception was so smooth - and as a former college radio DJ, his music choice to fill in the gaps between the 'must plays' we sent him were impeccable!!! If you have a big heart for music and want it to be the backbone of any great party while having one of the most professional guys out there - Lou is 100% your guy. Thanks again Lou!!!!”
