The songs were a great mix of older stuff and newer hits, and somehow, he got everyone dancing—even the people who usually just sit and watch. There weren’t any awkward pauses or weird song choices, and every time I thought, Okay, maybe I'll sit down now, another great song came on, and I stayed on the dance floor. He didn’t talk too much on the mic, but when he did, it added to the energy instead of being annoying. Overall, he just made the whole night feel effortless. “We couldn't recommend The 1999 enough!! We first saw them at the Thirsty Moose bar in New Hampshire. That night, we had such a good time that we decided we wanted them as our wedding band over the other more traditional soul/r&b band we had in mind. They were able to play a lot of modern rock and pop favorites for us and our friends but also throw in a few classics for our parents and older guests. They even let us help decided the final set list to ensure a wide variety of songs. Working with them was such a breeze as Rob and Alex are so incredible detailed-obsessed -- we didn't have to worry about a thing because they gave us the confidence going into our wedding that they had it under control from pre-planning to end of night. We couldn't have asked for a better band and we are now happy to call them friends for life! Such great people, amazing professionals and talented musicians.”

The band played for our cocktail hour with a talented Jazz Trio, a parade to get our guests into the reception (so cool and lots of kudos from the guests!!), and an outstanding reception performance. There was not one moment that the dance floor was empty and they truly brought the best energy and talent. Music was one of our biggest priorities for the wedding day and our expectations were blown away. David was very collaborative, helping us to plan the perfect set list and answering all of our questions leading up to the day. We were also so appreciative that the band was able to not only learn but perform incredible renditions of our first dance song, and themes from Vanderpump and Star Wars (truly amazing live!). The Love Revival Orchestra is a truly incredibly talented band that played everything from The Beatles to The Cranberries to Taylor Swift and so much more.
