Nestled in the wooded bluffs between Maiden Rock and Stockholm, in the Pepin Wisconsin area, Maidenwood is a wedding and event center that sits on a 40 acre nature reserve overlooking Lake Pepin of the Mississippi River. Just one hour from the Twin Cities, Rochester, and Eau Claire, Maidenwood is an idyllic setting for your event. With stunning views of woodland forests, wildflower meadows, bluffs and ridges, Maidenwood offers exclusive amenities for up to 200 guests and the freedom to roam throughout the property to capture the perfect photos for your big day.

A "one-stop-shop" stress-free experience with excellent service is what we offer. Our beautiful Ballroom holds up to 300 guests. We include a two-room suite for the Bride & Groom the night of the Reception, we have a Banquet Manager that runs the event from beginning to end, we set up and tear down all the decorations, all the linens, tables and chairs are included (we will add our chair covers for $2 each) and we include uplighting in the room. We also do a group block for your guests at a discounted rate. We set up a Host and/or Cash Bar at no extra cost. The Ceremony can be held here as well for a small fee. We will need 2 hours between the Ceremony and the Reception to flip the room. Our Pre-Function Area and Patio are ideal for a Cocktail Reception during that time or guests can come back when the Reception opens. Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse caters for our events. Our Chef is very flexible and we offer options for guests with dietary restrictions.

Almquist Farm is a fifth generation family farm homesteaded by Charles Almquist after he immigrated from Sweden in 1890. Our 75 acres of rolling hills and oak trees provide a spacious setting for a one location all day wedding celebration. Experience Loft 214, an original space with warm, rustic-chic charm. Built in 1895, this building was renovated in 2013 to become Loft 214, one of the most unique, rustic and charming venues in Minnesota. Loft 214 boasts 4,000 sq feet of event space! Loft 214 is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Stillwater, Minnesota. Prior to the renovation in 2013 the historic building was used as housing accommodations for lumberjacks in the logging industry. The building is bursting with character and history yet it still represents the current amenities of the present. Clients have complete control over every detail of their event at Loft 214. The venue is versatile and functional with multiple spaces available including two VIP rooms. In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Oak Glen is a private and public golf course with a gorgeous wedding and event venue, located just 5 minutes from downtown Stillwater. Our packages include your ceremony and reception, on-site catering, tables, chiavari chairs, linens, flatware, charger plates, votives, and all day access to our getting ready suites! Oak Glen has two outdoor and one indoor ceremony locations as well as one beautiful reception space. The Willows ceremony site is located just off the first hole and features willow trees framing our beautiful fountain in the pond. The Prairie ceremony site is located closer to the clubhouse, making it more convenient for your guests to get to. All ceremonies include worry-free setup and tear down with white folding chairs, a hexagon shaped arch- that you can decorate, as well as back-up indoor ceremony site (depending on guest count.)
