Hi I'm Andrew! I first started filming weddings when my sister got married in 2017. I quickly fell in love with the entire process and getting to know all the couples and their guests. Maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic haha (My guilty pleasure is Hallmark movies, once I walk in the room with it on I have to see how it ends!).

When i was young, my dream was to be a filmmaker and musician. The art of visual storytelling was captivating to me. When the right image, message, and music collide, it’s pure magic. After high school i moved across the country to pursue a music career. 4 albums, 13 countries, and 100’s of shows later i found myself wanting to be behind the camera, rather than in front. Filmmaking gave me the chance to express myself, while capturing once in a lifetime moments. I had once again fallen in love with storytelling. It’s never JUST a photo or video clip. It’s real people, real emotion, seen through a perspective that otherwise wouldn’t exist.

Mercedes studied anthropology and sociology at Umass Amherst and brings her skills as a filmmaker to projects ranging from weddings to broadcast television to feature-length documentaries. She views her work through an anthropological lens - stepping back, observing, and allowing her subjects tell their story in their own words. She loves capturing beauty in everyday moments as well as those extra special days in people's lives.
