My name is Chief and I'm the founder of Chief the Creator. This business came about from my passion for shooting and capturing stunning imagery. Mercedes studied anthropology and sociology at Umass Amherst and brings her skills as a filmmaker to projects ranging from weddings to broadcast television to feature-length documentaries. She views her work through an anthropological lens - stepping back, observing, and allowing her subjects tell their story in their own words. She loves capturing beauty in everyday moments as well as those extra special days in people's lives.
