I’ve been looking through my viewfinder for over 6 years! It’s so crazy how time flies. My passion for photography first started when I was super young! I was gifted many point-and-shoots when I was younger and took photos of everything! In high school, I took photography courses and my mom bought me my first Canon Rebel for school. I soon learned that I was actually in love with the beauty of portraits, capturing love, and people's emotions. I literally get to capture beautiful love stories and I wouldn't change it for the world.

We had our wedding over a year ago, and as we recently looked through our photos again, we were blown away by how beautifully Kylie captured our day. From the smallest candid moments to the big, emotional highlights, every shot is stunning and tells the story of our wedding perfectly. What stood out to us most was her patience and adaptability. Our wedding was held in a location she had never shot before, but she navigated it seamlessly, taking the time to find the best angles and lighting to make every photo perfect. Despite us being 850 miles away, her pre-meeting consultations were incredibly kind and genuine—she truly took the time to get to know us as a couple. Throughout the process, she kept us updated on her progress, which made everything stress-free and enjoyable. We’ve received countless compliments on our photos from family and friends, and we couldn’t be happier with the memories she preserved for us. Thank you, Kylie, for giving us such a timeless gift—we will cherish these photos forever!

I first and foremost, love pasta. You probably thought I was going to say something about photography. Eh, I can live with that level of disappointment. I laugh, a lot; and loudly. I believe in friends and family and friends that are like family. You will rarely find me with anything sweet in my hand, and definitely zero chocolate. But I can promise you I've never turned down a french fry. When I'm not taking selfies with my clients, you can find me watching reruns (Friends, Schitt's Creek, and Parks and Rec, of course), car dancing, reciting early 00's hip hop lyrics, and online shopping.

Katy is truly amazing. She photographed our wedding in 2014 and the pictures turned out phenomenal. She also arranged to shoot at Victory Field for our engagement session which was such an awesome experience. Almost 8 years later, she is still our go-to photographer. Not once have we felt we were being “posed” for a photo. She has a way of capturing those raw, authentic moments without being invasive and she has always made us feel comfortable. She has such an amazing energy and you can feel the passion she has for her career. Katy is truly amazing and I’m so glad she has been the one to capture some of the most memorable moments for my family.

We couldn’t be happier with the incredible work Portraits by Sean did on our wedding day! From start to finish, he was professional, creative, and so easy to work with. Sean stayed until the very end of the night, capturing every special moment without ever making us feel rushed. One of the things we really appreciated was how he worked with the kids—getting them to smile and be comfortable without any stress. Their ability to blend in while also capturing candid, beautiful moments was outstanding. We were blown away by the quality of the photos, and they truly exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Portraits by Sean to anyone looking for a talented and reliable photographer to capture the magic of their day!

Hey there! Since you are trusting me to capture these special moments in your life, I figured you should probably know a bit about me, right? I am a Huntsville, Alabama native, but moved to Nashville after graduating from the University of Alabama in 2013. ROLL TIDE! Although I consider Nashville home, I am anything but a homebody. I love traveling and exploring new places (especially the food at those places!). I even studied abroad in Italy, which let me tell you, was a food lover's dream. I have always felt like an old soul trapped in a millennial’s body. I would rather listen to Frank Sinatra than anything on the radio today.

  • Starts at $2,800

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
I have used many photographers in the past but none came close to the level of expertise that Leah possesses. Over the years, I've done business headshots with her, family photos, and most recently my wedding. Since I have used Leah's services for other things before, I knew what to expect as far as photo-quality goes; the real testimonial comes from how she handled the wedding. Shooting a wedding in another country with a chaotic family is no easy task, even I wouldn't wish it upon myself, but Leah truly knocked it out of the park: she checked in before the event day to go over the schedule, showed up early, got all of the extra shots that I requested, directed people, and just really took charge of the experience. Having her as my wedding photographer was literally one of the only non-stressful decisions I made for that event lol. The photos turned out beautifully, I really can't imagine having anyone else capture one of the most important events of my life. I recommend her wholeheartedly!!

When I was a kid all I wanted to be was a photographer (or a vet) and in 2019 o my husband gave me that opportunity. I left my corporate job to pursue my passion. I started a pet sitting business AND a photography business at the same time and I think it's safe to say that right now I am living the dream. I have three beautiful cats and a wonderful husband who supports me in whatever I do.
