My name is Gage Horne, the owner of Gage Horne Studios. I started my company in 2019 (officially) but have been doing video work starting at the age of 11. It started as gaming videos uploaded to YouTube, to shooting professional dance films in college, to starting my own Video Production Service. I found true passion in my work when I realized how important wedding videos are. I had already shot 100+ films before my wedding but realized as a consumer how valuable it is. You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. "How long have you been doing photography" is a tricky question. I discovered a joy in photography during childhood. I built a foundation for photography in the darkroom during high school. I found a passion for photography when I began photographing music in 2009. Concert photos have a way of capturing energy and motion that just grabs you. Between the stage lights and the musicians it taught me how to capture passionate, uncontrollable situations. So I naturally progressed into weddings, where candid opportunities are endless.
